Color: VR03 Vampire Red
I got the red for upcoming Halloween makeup. The twistable stick makes it easy to apply - I gave it a test run and its easy to apply but will smudge since it does have a waxy feeling - so setting powder would be helpful as someone mentioned in another review. You will need soap and water to remove or use a wipe first then follow with soap and water. It didn't stain but it did take a bit to remove. I like the stick aspect better than a paint pot - you can always use a brush with the stick as well.

Item: "FOCALLURE Face Body Paint Stick,Eye Black Stick for Sports,Face Painting Kit Professional Hypoallergenic Foundation Makeup for Halloween Cosplay SFX Costume Party,Witch Purple" ~ At first I tried using this directly over some stencil stickers, and while that sort of worked, it put way too much paint on and tended to result in a blurry-looking shape, plus a bit of a 3D effect where there was so much paint that it was sticking up off of my skin. Then I tried using a short stiff brush and coating that with the paint by rubbing it across the top of the stick, then painting across the stencils with the brush. That worked a lot better and had a much lower likelihood of blurred / unclear shapes. It also was much easier to draw freehand things on myself when using it paired with a brush. I think maybe it should've come with one. It was pretty easy to wash most of the way off. Even without using water I could rub quite a bit of it off on a disposable face towel, and soap and water got most of what that didn't. But it leaves a hint of a stain behind, which doesn't seem like it's enough to really rub off on anything (I hope), and maybe you wouldn't notice it at all if you didn't know to look for it - it's like a tiny bit gets into my pores and doesn't really want to come all the way out. I like the color a lot - it's really vibrant and true to the pictures - I just wish it stayed on better. As it is, I have to be really aware of not touching it even a little bit (*crosses fingers for my face to not itch*), or I'll accidentally get purple onto my finger and then all over everything. It came in a box sealed up in plastic. The one I got in July 2023 has an expiration date of May 22, 2026.

Color: VR03 Vampire Red
This is the FOCALLURE Face Body Paint Stick and the color I tried was red. This is more expensive than some paint sticks I’ve used but I believe this contains a higher amount of pigment. It was bright red on the first application. This should go a little farther than some because it’s an oversized tube. It goes on easy enough but since it’s a greasy/waxy substance, it will smear if you rub it against something. I did get it to wash off with some difficulty. I would suggest using this as a test patch first to see whether it stains the skin.

This is a very oily paint and doesn't go well with some of the other body paints I have. I had a small problem with smearing and transfer.
