This foam RC plane is pure backyard fun. My kids figured it out in minutes—just toss it in the air and it starts flying on its own. The controller is so easy that even younger ones can do flips, spins, and smooth landings without much practice. Headless mode really helps when they lose track of direction. It’s made of soft foam, so even after a bunch of crash landings into trees, fences, and the dog (oops), it’s still flying strong. The LED lights are the coolest part—at night it looks like a glowing spaceship zipping around. Honestly, both the kids and I can’t stop playing with it. Great gift, tons of laughs, and super durable. I got this RC foam airplane for my kids, and it’s been fun to use. It’s lightweight, so it’s easy for beginners to get the hang of flying it without worrying about big crashes. The controls are pretty simple, and even my youngest could figure them out quickly. It handles well for its size and feels stable in flight. My only complaint is the battery life, it doesn’t last as long as we’d like, so I have to recharge pretty often if my kids want to keep playing.

The 4DRC Foam Remote Control Airplane is a light-weight drone that is shaped as a fighter jet. It has LED lights , 2x battery packs, and a remote controller that is easy to operate. Flying indoors can be a challenge. The plane hovers just fine, but the slightest wind disturbance (eg - ceiling fan) causes it to drift pretty quickly. I recommend flying outside. Yes, the plane will drift, but you will have more opportunity to recover mid-flight. The controller features buttons for either a side flip or back flip. The fact that it comes with an additional battery means more air time! *5 stars overall. Good price point and plenty of fun.

This foam RC plane is a fun to play around. It’s lightweight, which helps it glide smoothly. Controls are very easy to understand so my kids can get the hang of it quickly. The LED lights are bright and make flying in the evening more fun. My only gripe is the short flight time per charge.

I grabbed this foam airplane for some weekend fun, and it’s a solid pick for beginners. The EPP foam makes it super lightweight and forgiving, so when it takes a dive (and it will), it bounces right back without breaking. The controller is straightforward, and the headless mode plus altitude hold make flying way less intimidating—you can actually get it in the air and keep it steady with just a little practice. The stunt features are the real highlight though; toss it in the air and it self-launches, and the 360° flips get big reactions from kids. The LED lights make night flying surprisingly cool, giving it a glowing trail in the sky. A simple, tough little flyer that’s fun for all ages.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this 4DRC Foam Remote Control Airplane as a fun toy to enjoy with my Grandson. Overall, it is a nicely made toy, and includes 2 USB-mini charging batteries. When it flies, it works okay, and is very cool. Also, it has a feature where you gently drop it down or toss it up and it starts flying. Uber cool! I have 2 major issues with it: They use a remote that is very different than the standard drone design (Grandson has 3 others) and VERY confusing. For example, on a standard remote, when you need to trim the hover (adjust for drift in any direction) there is a button on the face of the remote. On the 4RDC remote you have to dual purpose button, then a directional button. Several of the functions operate this way. More seriously, after just a few flights, the top left button stuck in the on position. Something very poorly designed and fragile. The plane still flies, but it has lost several functions. Contacted seller's Customer Service and they responded within 24 hours and are shipping a new unit.
