Put this on my mower to assist for winter storage. Turn this valve after your last mow of the season, let the gas burn out of the engine, and then no worries for the winter. Turn the valve back to the on position before your first mow and you are good to go.

    • It works no leaks but is not a good value
Next time I'll go for a plastic one, the valve works do not get me wrong but you can buy 10 plastic ones for the same price. The issue is the construction is not good, the stops do not work so the valve just turns around and it fits pretty loose on a 1/4 fuel line.

This product is NOT what it claims to be. This is NOT a petcock for a standard 1/4" fuel line. Don't waste your money like I did. This MIGHT work on a chainsaw or a weedeater. But it is not what it purports to be.

    • 1/4" shut off valve
just let me say, this is not a 1/4" shutoff valve. i purchased one before, the fuel line is 1/4" and this does not fit. it's too small. if you want it to fit a 1/4" fuel line, look elsewhere. this is too small. maybe it's 3/16" or 1/8", but it's way too small to fit a 1/4"

    • A dangerous product
This item is dangerous. It will leak through the knob not the where the hoses connect and could burn your house down. Also when I first received it the holes were barely open due to metal inside them.
