I am so happy with these boots, I have skinny calves (13 inch /34 cm.) It is so hard to find boots to fit well, these boots are flattering and comfortable, within a couple days of wearing the first pair, I ordered a second color, but because they had only 1/2 size larger I still ordered them (true to size, the foot box is roomy, which I love as it give's me the opportunity to wear wool socks and still have freedom of movement on my toes, the calve size is still the same as the smaller size ). I LOVE these boots so much, that I may be ordering a third pair, the leather is beautiful, they are warm, extremely comfortable and gorgeous, great quality. These boots are gorgeous and so comfy. I'm a size 7.5ish in US sizes. The size 38 fits perfectly. The calf is a little snug, but leather stretches. Unfortunately, there are no gussets like some boots to make the calf expand, so just take this into consideration when purchasing. Shipped super fast! I love the red color. This boot appears to be very well made. However, as another reviewer noted, the foot portion runs large and the size 6, which is my usual size, is definitely too big for me. Also, the boot feels "chunkier" than I expected. The absolute worst thing is that to return these I would have to pay a minimum of $118 to return them as they have to ship to the UK!!! It really seems like there should be a US location where they can be returned. When I purchased them the shipping was free for a price on the boot of $190. Obviously it didn't cost the company $118 to ship them or the price would have been much higher. Also, there should be a notation that returns must be shipped to the UK. That would at least give the buyer pause before purchasing. ... show more

Very cute boots, they are so supple and soft. Gorgeous cut and very high-quality leather. They are warm-weather boots, so are lined with insulation to keep your feet warm. They have rubber soles that won't slip on ice, and will give you the stability you need in the ice and snow. The leather is absolutely gorgeous. I had to return them, which was sad for me because I'd been eyeing these boots for months. The cut around the calf is as small as everybody says. Unless you have unusually small calves, do order a size up, and don't expect to zip over anything but your bare leg. ... show more

Comfortable and the fit is perfect. Slim in the calf but I didn’t have any problems with this. There is some give so don’t let the other reviewers discourage you. My second Fly London pair...totally worth the price!
