  • Great sound
Style: Base Product
I got this for my 18 Silverado. It was way too quiet for my taste. I love the way this sounds. It has just the right amount of growl. You can hear me coming but I’m not going to make the neighbors mad. Completely recommend.

  • Sounds great and brought my Silverado 1500 to life
Style: Base Product
Overall, I am very pleased with the sound quality of the exhaust. The truck now has a very nice deep idle and will roar when I get on the gas. The set is all bolt on and the instructions were adequate to complete the install but could have been better. Although I hesitated to go with the dual exhaust, I took the gamble and I am very glad that I did. The truck has a much sportier look to it. My intent was to keep the truck at a low rumble at low rpm and idle but have a nice, deep roar when I get on the throttle. This exhaust did exactly that! The following link will take you to the before and after video that I posted on YouTube. http://youtu.be/dBD69xBlykE. The Flowmaster Force II exhaust loses a star because of the pipes themselves. The left side pipes would not clamp down enough to create a snug fit and seal off exhaust. I had to wrap two of the pipes with Exhaust Bandage and then slip the pipes on top in order to get a good seal. If you buy this exhaust, be prepared for that complication during install. Fortunately, I read a review that mentioned this same issue so I purchased the Exhaust bandage, High Temp RTV silicone sealant and an Exhaust System Joint & Crack Sealer before I started the project just in case I would need it. Although every clamp was thoroughly tightened, every one of them leaked exhaust because they do not tighten enough to create an appropriate seal. I had to remove every clamp and line the ends of each adjoining pipe with the RTV Silicone. Additionally, I used a heavy coat of Exhaust System Joint & Crack Sealer up where the pipe attaches to the catalytic converter. I never had to do this with the Borla or SLP exhausts that I have purchased in the past for my Camaro. ... show more

  • Wife is happy that this is not too loud!
Style: Base Product
My wife wanted to make sure that my was not obnoxiously loud...this is the perfect solution. My truck now has a rumble on both low and high end! Looks great with stainless dual tips located on each edge of the bumper

  • Don't do it
Style: Base Product
I purchased this cat back exhaust system on June 5th 2020 & as of today 2/23/2021 this so called stainless steel exhaust is currently covered with rust. I live in northern Michigan and until January we have had very little snow this year. It was easy to install and sounds nice but it has not made it through one winter and looks very rusty. I worked in a GM Service Department for years and know what a cheap exhaust looks like and one that will not last. keep looking this one is junk ! update sent photos to Flowmaster for warranty but no response from them. ... show more

  • sounds good on start up
Style: Base Product
jury still out, sounds good on start up, and under load. but there is a sound that wasn't there with stock exhaust. almost sounds like a trans or rear end issue, a low grade growl/vibration.. Very unsettling. comes on after you throttle back to cruise speed, goes away when you touch the gas. This truck only has 14,000 miles, Chevy, 2016, Silverado, 1/2 ton, crew cab, 4x4. I may switch back to stock exhaust to to see if noise goes away. ... show more

  • Deep powerful but pleasant sound
Style: Base Product
Not the sound that disturbs your neighbors but enough to let the truck next to you know "You ain't to be played with".

  • sounds good, looks good
Style: Base Product
As others have said, sounds good, looks good, but the clamps are absolute garbage!!!! None of them would tighten up no mater which way I oriented them or regardless of how much I tightened them, even one of them broke after tightening it as much as humanly possible until it failed and it still failed to grasp even moments before breaking. I probably would've had the entire thing on in an hour to an hour and a half max but took me close to 2 1/2 to 3 hours due to the clamp issue, I had to buy an additional clamp and put high temp silicone at every joint and even cut a few extra relief cuts in one of the pipes in order to get it to clampdown. ... show more
