Impressive number coverage! Another (ostensibly better) brand required 10+ thick blobs of paint to cover the numbers. This one, however, even the white covered very well on the first coat. The paint also has a beautiful shimmery sheen to it. I would not recommend for kids because of the fine detail required but it’s a great relaxing activity for adults and the picture is beautiful.

The order arrived swiftly, in just one day. The product was packaged securely in a cardboard box surrounded by brown wrapping paper. The product box is attractive and large enough to hold the product comfortably. I have not done any paint-by-number kits in a very long time preferring free-hand painting. However, Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. This paint-by-number kit reminded me of Van Gogh’s many sunflower paintings. I also like to paint sunflowers. The sunflower design of this kit is gorgeous. I like that the print is on canvas that is stretched over a stretcher bar frame. The print is very clear as are the numbers on the print—very readable. There are just 2 brushes in this kit. In my opinion, 2 brushes (1 flat head brush and 1 small detail round brush) is not enough. I would only use the detail brush for the very small detail, but will use medium size round brushes for most of the painting. I will use the flat brush for straight edges, like on the stem.A collection of 4 brushes would have been more te helpful. There is only a tiny amount of paint provided in each color. You will need to spread the paint thinly to cover the canvas. Since this paint-by-number kit reminded me of Van Gogh, I will use additional paint to add some texture to the painting. Back when I used to do paint-by-number kits, a lot more paint was provided—at least 2 to 3 times as much paint. However, this kit is similar to other paint-by-number kits. They all seem to skimp on paint. I was really glad that this was a paint-by-number kit on a frame and not just a rolled up canvas. It was also thoughtful that the seller provided an easel to display the finished painting. I didn’t screw the easel together, yet, since I wanted to store the easel parts until I finish the painting. I laid it all together just to see how it would work. The seller also included hardware to hang the finished painting if you did not want to use the easel, The cost of $9.99 is a competitive price. This kit is well-worth that price. It’s a gorgeous design on canvas stretched on a stretcher bar frame in an attractive box with included wood parts to construct an easel for displaying the finished painting. Similar to most paint-by-number kits, it skimps on paint as nd included only 2 brushes.

I ordered the small Sunflower on the Easel. The wood for the easel is poorly cut and very rough that could give slivers. The photo for this item shows the crossbar on the easel higher up on the vertical wooden bars, but mine is less than an inch up from the bottom. Also, the center post has a portion missing from the bottom - like I stated, poorly made.
