I saw an article (in WSJ maybe?) that said Trump was giving Florsheims to everyone he knew. "That's weird," I thought "What the heck are you even *doing*, guy?" But it ate at me, and I had to know what was so good about these shoes that handing them out was a good use of POTUS' time. And I needed a new pair of dress shoes anyway, so eventually I figured I might as well try these. Worst case, I send them back and its a good story, right? Disappointingly for story-purposes, it turns out they're actually nice shoes. Comfortable out of the box, fit well*, look decent, and reasonably durable (so far) without much care or polish. Trump making everyone who comes to the White House wear them is still weird, but I guess he's not wrong on their niceness. *Take Amazon's recommendation on size, even if it's not your normal size. Worn once for a wedding, and these were some of the most comfortable dress shoes, even coming straight out of the box and onto my feet for an all-day wedding extravaganza. Highly recommended. Good fit, style, quality, and value for the money. I highly recommend.

Great shoe! Fits true to size and takes some time to break in, but comfortable after that. Good flexibility and the toe cap keeps the shoe looking good. The laces are cheap so be prepared to buy new ones.

Nice look. Great fit. Literally comfortable right out of the box. The soles have some grab to them and the heels are stiff. If you want me to find something negative to say, the laces are really chintzy.
