These are very nice comfortable shoes. The shoes fits my foot size exactly. The shoes are very stylish. When walking in them the heel felt like it was a little high. It maybe because the front of the shoes are a little higher than most of my shoes. Maybe they need into be broken in. Once I received the shoes I put them on to do a test walk. I'm very pleased with the quality and comfort of the shoes. Fit true to size (13 wide for me). They look nice and don't have that super high gloss shine. The rubber soles are far superior to synthetic that tend to slip (at least in my experience). And best of all, no squeaking!

These shoes are very good - the color is listed as "cognac," and is a fairly rich medium brown. I took photos both with and without camera flash to try to convey the color accurately. Bottom line is it looks nice with anything. I show them with navy birdseye, charcoal, and light tan pants, and they look great with all of them. The shoes are well padded on the inside, and very comfortable to wear. I have worn dress shoes daily for the past two decades, and these are on the very high end, as far as comfort goes. The inside is a faux suede material but quite nice. The leather uppers smell good and leathery! The sole is rubber, which is flexible and grippy. There is faux stitching on it (these are cemented shoes, not welted) which is fine; at this price point you are not going to get welted shoes. The other stitching on the cap toe and other other seams is tight and even, with no loose threads. The heel is stacked wood with a rubber heel cap. There is also a Florsheim logo on the tongue, which is perhaps barely visible when the shoe is being worn. I am giving these fall marks as they are really excellent for what they are. Again, if you want welted dress shoes, you will need to try elsewhere, but you will also be in a whole different price range (double or more.) Shoes seemed of reasonable quality for the price, but were not actually "wide." If you have a narrow foot, you may find them acceptable. If you have a wide foot, move on.
