first shoe i ever owned that squeaks when you walk. possibly the insole is making the noise. hope it goes away. also.. i followed advice below and bought a size smaller. length is good but the width too narrow. sqeezes toes.

Really nice, professional and casual dress shoe and it’s pretty comfortable for those busy errand days when you are going to be on your feet a lot. Only down fall the size chart is off. I purchased my normal size of 8.5 and it fit one size larger as my brother usually wears 9.5 and it fit him perfectly. My advice buy a half size smaller

I wear mostly suits and dress clothes to work. So I tend to go through several pairs of dress shoes a year. The first thing that stood out to me about this particular pair was the richness of the color of the leather. It was the perfect shade of brown and matches well with a lot of what I wear. My main concern was going to be how well they would last. After over a month of wear I can say I am very impressed with the quality and construction of these shoes. There's actually a lot of padding and support in these shoes and I'm willing to bet if you're reading this you've had a pair of dress shoes that were just a thin layer of leather glues to a sole that was hard as a rock. Don't worry because that's not the case with this pair. The stitching and detail on these are great and the photos try and highlight that. The sole is thick, durable and has held up very well so far. The laces are thin, easy to tie and are soft so they don't chew up the leather like I've seen in other shoes. For reference I'd say I wear this about 2-3 times a week and ordered them over a month ago. They also fit true to size so order the size you normally wear. I highly recommend these shoes if you want a great looking, comfortable pair that will last!

Only slightly less satisfying than putting on a new pair of socks is putting on a new pair of shoes. These Florsheim Oxfords hit the spot after my previous Florsheim wing tips have nearly given up the ghost. This new shoe (to me at least) is modern and traditional. It is versatile and works well with a suit or casual attire. I was in a conservative jacket and button down when I saw my ultra hipster friend today wearing the exact same shoe but a little different shade. This vindicated my taste as I guarantee you he has good taste (though a little more eccentric). It's comfortable and not a problem for my wider-than-normal feet. The toe extends a bit farther than my other dress shoes but the pointiness does not restrict my foot in any way. It just makes the front clearance a bit longer for my puppies. The design has an interesting cross pattern on the side panels that I haven't seen before. It adds a bit of modernity to the classic Oxford. Great shoe. I'm hoping the heel doesn't fall off like my last pair, though a little wood glue fixed that easily.
