Unlike the 'wired' camera/floodlights, the battery operated lights will not turn on if the camera is not armed. The lights do allow for a much better picture at night.

These lights are nice and bright. I usually only turn them up like a quarter to half of the brightness. The batteries also last for quite awhile. Had them for a few years and they've held up nice, changed the batteries once. I also have never had any problems with them working on my network.

Can't get it to work and doesn't link up, new batteries etc, still doesnt work. I put it up too late so i missed the return or replacement date.
