The material is SHEER, even the dark navy color I got so I bought a black slip to wear under just in case and I'm so happy that I did. In pictures, you can see a little of the slip (probably because I was looking for it) but I can't imagine if I wore light undergarments in addition the sun shining through (wedding time). The color is great, the fabric is comfortable. The slit in front is significant. I definitely had to keep adjusting the dress too manage the slit in front. The knot design in the front makes the front flattering, but the back can look a little boxy.

I love the style and stretch, however the slit was VERY HIGH! I ordered a medium and it fit my 34B top very well, however for what I may lack up top, God blessed below and I gotta say, if you have a booty order up! The bottom was so tight that it kept riding up making the slit level with my lady parts which isn’t the best look for a formal wedding and the bottom looked painted on, no flow in the back like the picture shows. I am awaiting my size large in the mail and will review. LARGE REVIEW: Okay ladies, the large fit my bottom PERFECTLY! Accentuated without looking like I squeezed into my child’s leggings. The slit was a perfect height. However, the top was very large. It kept sliding down making the V a little too revealing. I stitched it ip a bit and pulled some fabric around my waist and safety pinned it behind the knot to give the dress a more uniform fit. Long review short, I made it work and I got so many compliments on this dress. Ordered the red. Did not realize it has texture to the fabric when I ordered however it is still flattering. I am 5 ft 3, 145ish pounds and 3 months postpartum. I feel this does a good job of concealing the mom tummy. Pretty dress for a wedding

Love the top but the hips are so tight the slit rides up and shows everything to the world. Also makes a weird bagginess in your lower tummy because of the twist material and tight hips and bodycon skirt. Wish they had exact top with a straight skirt or A-line because the top is fabulously flattering and a hard style to find. Fabric is a bit sheer and with the slit you cannot wear a slip or slip shorts or any other kind of undergarments. Please create with straight or flared skirt! ... show more

This dress is gorgeous! 9 out of 10! It's very flattering- I have a small mama pooch that it hides nicely. The top flatters shoulders and chest. The color was so pretty in person! I got so many compliments and felt pretty in it. My only complaints were that: 1. it was very sheer. I wore no show underwear shorts to help smooth and hide underwear lines but you can see the lines around mid thigh. It wasn't super noticeable but it bothered me. 2. The material gathered in chest area a bit (I'm a 34D). I would have worn bra tape to keep neckline in place if I had it but I didn't and didn't feel like running out to buy it. Bra tape would have fixed this 100% so it isn't worth taking off points. 3. The cut up the front was a bit too deep for me. I had to be careful while I was bending down- which I did often bc I have small kids lol. Other than those three things, I loved the dress and would totally wear it again and again! Next time I'll just wear bra tape and maybe try different underwear. ... show more

This dress is the perfect wedding guest dress and I think I’m going to buy another one for date night with hubby! I absolutely loved this dress, but I’m giving it 4 starts because after trying it on once I noticed a small tear in the ruching area. I had to take it to a seamstress the day of a wedding and it was brought back just like that. I also had the split sewn down some. It does rise some as you walk so having the split sewn down helped me be more comfortable and not to feel like I’m exposing too much. I will say when hanging the dress up in the light it is sheer but when it is on, you are good. very good stretch material (polyester - 90%).
