Updated review. From 4 stars to 1. This top was perfect when I tried it on. But then I washed it in cold water before wearing and it shrunk so much that the armholes were so much smaller that my arms literally couldn't go in all the way to the shoulder. When the top was wet, I could feel how stretchy the cotton was, and pulled it gently to try and keep its size, but it still dried about 2 sizes smaller. Only buy this if you NEVER intend washing it. (I had bought another one in a different print from a different seller and the exact same thing happened.) [This is the review I wrote after trying the top on and before washing: Its hard finding high-necked tops with ties. I ordered a Medium (for my bra size 36B) - and it fits slightly snug around the arms, but perfect around the chest. If you have stronger or bigger arms you may want to size up. I am long waisted so much more belly is exposed than in the advertized image. The fit is snug but comfortable, and it feels a little scratchy along the seams at the sides. Overall, very happy.]

So, in theory this shirt is super cute. However, the recommended size does not fit me like the model shows. The crop is a lot shorter than the picture, so I'm gonna have to lose some weight before I wear it in public. For reference, I'm 5'2, 132 lbs, 32A, and the ties land a couple inches under my bust, NOT near the waist at all. That said, I do like the fabric, the pattern, and that you can wear it forward or backward. I did hand wash in cold water before first wear, so I have no clue if it shrunk or not. Today I wore it with a tank underneath bc too much stomach haha. I wish it fit better, that's all :) ***I am back to make my review even more helpful. For size small, the item I received is 13" long from shoulder to bottom hem, and 11" from neckline to bottom hem. This is nowhere near the 15.2" stated in the picture description of the top. So yea, the crop is going to be way shorter than what your expecting. Happy shopping!!***

I wanted to love this top, but it’s not made for members of the IBTC. Winkles at the armpit a bit (like where you get lines across the top of a strapless bra, IYKYK) despite how tight it’s tied. TBD on if I keep it and suck it up or return because I’m being picky.

The material is scratchy, thin, and incredibly wrinkly. I ordered the off white style and instead of the muted florals like the photo, mine arrived bright red. I store this top hanging and still never wear it out because I’d have to iron it every single time. The ties especially never lay flat. It gaps kind of weird once on, and the material has zero stretch. I find myself adjusting it the entire time I wear it. Mine also shrunk in the wash. I wish I’d returned it, but I just never got around to it.

I love this top! It's very breezy and comfortable and I've been wearing it a lot. I've been tying it in the back but you can also wrap the strings around the front and tie it there for a cute look that stays in place. My only issue is that the shirt shifts around a bit when I sit (I have horrible shrimp spine posture) and I'm worried that I might have some side-boob nip slippage. This issue is easily addressed by wearing pasties so I haven't had any problems. This shirt is super cute and I will definitely consider buying more patterns in the future!

I had a mastectomy and breast cancer 2 yrs ago, so sure I can now wear translucent clothes, but I don't necessarily WANT to wear see-through clothes, and this top was so thin and transparent! Could've been cute, especially the apricot with black hearts print. The model picture of it made me want to wear it with wide legged pants, shorts, denim skirts etc .. but that wasn't going to happen. Couldn't bring myself to take a picture to go with my review, but take my word for it - the fabric was far too thin and see-through, and it being backless, who wants to wear a bra with it?
