My wife ordered this for our anniversary trip to the beach. This is what she said: I like the knee length version of this dress, so I wanted the maxi style in a different color. I like this green, as it was a perfect color for my skin tone. It’s very comfortable and breathes, making it perfect for summer vacation or trip to the beach. I like the off the shoulder look, and like the ruching, which adjusts to your shape. And the fit makes it so bras are optional. It was a bit difficult to wear with a fresh sunburn from being out all day, but on days that I wasn’t sunburned, it’s been quite soft and comfortable. It’s perfect to wear when it’s really hot out. It’s not a very thick fabric, and there is a slit, making it easy to walk in on the beach or in transit. It makes a great dinner dress or a beach cover-up. When you get it out of the packaging, which is air sealed, it is quite wrinkled and does have a slight chemical scent. I washed mine and cold water and hung it to dry which helped the smell. However, it was still quite wrinkled. I had to steam it to remove all the wrinkles. When I packed it for vacation, I had to roll it to prevent wrinkles. It still had quite a few wrinkles, so I hung it in the bathroom for when we had a hot shower to help remove the wrinkles at our destination. So be mindful that this will wrinkle, but if you hang it, that will help. I also recommend bringing a wrinkle release spray, which will also be beneficial for this. ... show more

So much better than expected! It arrived in a small plastic bag very wrinkled. Once I ironed it, I saw how gorgeous it really was. And when I tried it on, it was perfect. I'm 5'3", 137 lbs, and I carry my weight all around my stomach and butt. This dress camouflages all of that really well! I just love it. It's a turquoise background with pink and yellow flowers and a little navy blue running through it. It looks beautiful with turquoise jewelry. Update: while I was trying it on, I realized after a few minutes the shoulders and sleeves were so tight they were cutting off the circulation in my arms, so I had to send the medium back and ordered a large. It arrived and fits good, but it smelled so bad of BO and horrible perfume. I tried washing the underarms by hand and I can't get the perfume & stink out. It's really a shame that I had to get a used, dirty dress! Disclaimer: I do not know or have any relationship with the seller.     • Cute, size down if you're short.
The dress is cute and comfortable. I'm torn on the price for quality only because it is very light, however it appears to be well made and it's not see through even for how thin it is. If you're short and curvy i recommend sizing down. I purchased a M and L and ended up returning the L. I'm 5'1" and curvy. Stretch is great on the M, but length was too long on the L. Also I was surprised because the tighter fit actually complemented me more. If you are tall and thin you may have the opposite issue, with length vs fit. There were comments about the sleeves being annoying, I haven't had a chance to use the dress other than a quick try on, but they seemed fine. Overall, happy with the dress it was just a little difficult to figure out what size I actually needed. ... show more

I'm 5'5 and weight 158 lbs and bought a medium in the warmer red floral dress, which did fit. It's a nice dress but I don't think it's worth $40, you can just tell it's not the kind of quality $40 entails. If you were at a store in person, I don't think most ppl would spend that on this. However, I think the cut is relatively universally flattering. The warmer red shade did not look good on me, I had hoped otherwise. Arms are a little tight but not intolerably. Slit is also not as obvious as in the photo unless you're purposely sticking one of your legs out...the dress def looks better with a small belt. ... show more

This dress is just as pretty in person as it is on the picture. As always, super fast delivery by Amazon. The dress is a nice, lightweight material. It’s very comfortable and flowy, and in my case it is ideal if you live in a hot/humid state. I love the slits on both sides in front of the dress. I’m 5’4 and weigh 160 and got it in medium and it fit perfectly. My favorite thing is about it is that you can really dress it up or dress it down. Whenever I’m going for a causal look I’ll wear it with sandals or even Birkenstocks. Whenever I’m going for a more dressy look I’ll wear chunky heels and pair it with a nice purse. It’s very versatile and you can really get different looks out it. 10/10 recommend. ... show more

I was hoping to love this dress and for starters, it does run small so size up. I’m 5’7”, 148lbs 34DDD, usually wear small but I got a medium although the arms were a little snug and I don’t have big arms. Nonetheless, the dress is cute but the material is thin and cheap looking, the top part which has the elastic ruching was poorly sewn and many spots were un-sewn.
