  • Found the FitBelt to be a great product after using it extensively. I was skeptical, but I truly feel like I got my moneys worth
Size: Medium Color: Black
This is a great product. I was skeptical of its effectiveness and value initially, but after fairly extensive use in a myriad of activities/situations, I can honestly say it was worth the money and a great buy. I have used the FlipBelt in a range of activities, including "outdoor" and sports-activities (e.g. running, hiking, snowboarding, biking, and even swimming in pools and the ocean) and it's worked excellently. I've also used it when attending concerts, trade shows, and even a multi-day music festival- it's worked well in those situations also. One use-case that I hadn't originally considered when I purchased the FlipBelt was "casual everyday use," though I've been particularly happy with the FlipBelt using it in that manner. To clarify, typically, I carry quite a few items around with me everyday (e.g. A full set of keys, two smartphones, a bunch of cards, maybe some cash, sometimes lip balm, and sometimes more). With the most comfortable clothing I own (or formal/dressy clothing for that matter), I simply can't carry those items (not well, anyway)- said items carry awkwardly, noisily, and sometimes uncomfortably. In addition, often-times, the outline of those items in my pockets looks terrible, and certainly stunts efforts of "trying to look nice or dress-up." With a FlipBelt, I literally wear whatever I want to wear- comfortable, classy, slimmer-fitting, no-pockets, loose and light, whatever- owning a FlipBelt, I can comfortably carry around any or all of the items I usually carry- bulky or not. (The FlipBelt is actually fairly inconspicuous, even when worn with "less forgiving" clothing, and it remains so for me, even when I'm using it to carry "all my stuff.") After owning one for a while, the FlipBelt has easily worked its way into my regular wardrobe- its too convenient and common-sense an "accessory" to NOT use, at least for me anyway. I no longer have to pick out an outfit for any activity based on how many pockets I'll need, or how much stuff I'll be carrying around. The FlipBelt stretches well to accommodate all manner of "cargo," and it holds it all well, in-place, without causing discomfort. A smartphone such as an iPhone 5s, for example, fits very easily, and an iPhone 6 or Samsung S5 or S6 fit also, though with a little stretching- it's still fairly easy to slide those phones into and out of the FlipBelt "pockets," however. I haven't tried a Samsung Note 4 or the iPhone 6L, but I have little doubt that those types of phones could be carried in a FlipBelt, though with those "phablets," there would obviously be a bit more stretching. Quickly removing or storing something like a Note 4 or a iPhone 6L (while wearing the FlipBelt) would be a little bit more cumbersome, too, I imagine, but certainly still do-able. The built-in key-clip/lanyard is a fantastic feature, and it ensures that you won't lose your keys/key-chain, regardless of the activity you're doing. The clip is also very handy for things like work/resort/casino/hotel key-cards, access-cards, and discount-cards, provided they have some kind of hole punched through them or some other method of attachment. To me, it makes sense to punch a hole into most of my cards (away from any integrated security-chips or magnetic-strips) so that I could "key-chain them together," or otherwise secure them when necessary- the FlipBelt's key-clip/lanyard feature is quite nice for that purpose. The lanyard portion is also (for me) just the right length and "stretchiness"- it's not so short that you can't even get the keys out of the belt, and the lanyard length also happens to make it easier to "fish the keys out" of the FlipBelt, by pulling on the lanyard itself. Even when carrying a bunch of items (like the example "cargo" I listed above), the FlipBelt is still surprisingly comfortable- the material it's made of breathes well, it's fairly durable and retains "stretchiness" well, it washes easily when necessary and whole belt dries relatively quickly when washed or taken swimming. Further, (as long as it's sized correctly) the FlipBelt feels almost invisible while worn directly against skin, or even when it's worn over other clothes. The continuous "wrap-around" design of the FlipBelt's "pocket" allows for "adjusting" the placement of carried items without requiring that the belt be removed. The ability to "adjust" the placement and orientation of carried items throughout the FlipBelt's wrap-around pocket, and through its cloth, while still being worn, makes it easy to "flatten" a loaded-up FlipBelt for appearance and comfort purposes. It is due to this ability to "adjust" carried items that I find the FlipBelt able to stay relatively inconspicuous in many outfits, for many activities, and a wide-range of carrying-ability, all while being quite comfortable. To me, the ability to make said "adjustments" to carried items while the belt is still worn, is a critically-important design-aspect that should not be overlooked. A Few Considerations: I originally had reservations about the design of the FlipBelt, since it doesn't "come-apart" like a belt (there is no buckle, velcro, or zipper)- you don the FlipBelt by sliding it over your head and down your body, or the opposite-way- that seemed like an hassle to me at first; like it was a design-oversight, or a bean-counter eliminating features or some other cynical explanation. In using the FlipBelt, I must say that it's design allows it to be light, comfortable, non-chaffing, easy to rotate-around your body, inconspicuous, and durable. I doubt, now, that having something like a buckle or zipper would have improved the design- in fact, I think it would have detracted quite a bit from my positive experience with the FlipBelt thus-far. Even when considering the design of the FlipBelt's pocket-openings (there are four, evenly spaced around the belt, if I recall correctly)- they have no closing-mechanism; no zippers, no Velcro, no buckles, but the FlipBelt still contains all of my stuff well nonetheless. The explanation for this lies in the ability to store items into the wrap-around pocket of the FlipBelt, and then literally flipping the belt inside-out while wearing it- this faces the four pocket-openings of the FlipBelt snugly up against the wearer's body, thus preventing the FlipBelt's contents from falling-out (provided the belt is sized correctly to the wearer). [Incidentally, I believe the suggested waist-sizes are relatively accurate, or at least it was in my case. I don't believe that FlipBelts should be considered to "run large" or "run small," but of course, your mileage may vary.] [Disclaimer: I am not in any way whatsoever affiliated with or compensated-by either Amazon, any FlipBelt resellers, nor the FlipBelt manufacturer. I wrote this review of my own volition as an individual customer.] ... show more

  • Doesn't Bounce Around At All!
Size: Extra Large Color: Black
I recently saw this product on after having searched for an iPhone running case. It wasn’t exactly what I was thinking at the time, but as it turns out, it’s even better! After I read more about it, I searched to see if they had their own website, which they did. I then looked around their website to see if they had opportunities to test or review their product, which they did. In exchange for providing me with a FlipBelt of my very own, I agreed to write this review for Level Terrain Apparel. Let me start out by saying that while I was provided with the complimentary FlipBelt, it has no bearing on how I feel about the product itself. I do not possess the standard “runner look.” I do not (and cannot) tuck clothes in. BIG runs in my family, it’s a genetic thing (thanks Mom and Dad). I’m an “up and down” dieter/runner who sometimes – or mostly - eats more than she runs. Therefore, the very last thing in the world I would want to wear while I’m out there running events with professional photographers taking action shots would be something gathering around my waist screaming “look here, look here”. Those waist packs, sport belts, athletic pouches or whatever you might call them - fanny bags – those are like swear words in my book. I would prefer to stick pins in my nice tech shirts rather than wear a simple bib holder for the mere fact that it cinches around that area. When this FlipBelt arrived, the first thing I noticed is that it looks just like the top of my favorite yoga pants – a nice, thick 3-inch band. It’s not a pouch that attaches to a belt; basically the whole thing IS a pouch. There are no zippers, buttons, buckles, nothing. You either put it over your head, or you step into it and adjust it to your waist or your hips, whichever is your preference. It has four little slits in it where you can insert your “stuff” to be carried. And according to the packaging the fabric is: “Wicking, Quick Dry Content: 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex.” I ordered black so that it would blend, but the belt does come in some fabulous colors such as yellow, aqua, pink, orange, green, blue, carbon, purple and maybe some day when I’m thin again, I’ll get the beautiful hot pink or aqua one….. maybe anyway. I ordered a Large, which, according to the package is for a women’s size 10-12, and it fit perfectly. Everything I read claimed that the belt didn’t bounce or move, and while this sounded fabulous, I just couldn’t believe it. Now that I’ve worn the product for a half marathon, let me be yet another person to tell you – THIS THING DOES NOT BOUNCE AND DOES NOT MOVE. You put it on, and that’s where it stays. For most of the event, it rained/drizzled/sprinkled, so the FlipBelt was damp. It doesn’t claim to be waterproof but my iPhone did stay dry, so I was happy with that. I actually talked to someone who has owned one for six months and she told me that the belt has not stretched out at all and is still as snug as mine is brand new. That’s a great piece of information to know because I did wonder how it would hold up. The photo on the left is a professional photo taken at half marathon. Note how the storage belt I was wearing helped make it look like I have a big ole "beer gut" because it's cinched around my waist so tight to keep it from bouncing around. You will never see that other storage belt on me again now since (1) I've seen the photos from that event and (2) I now own the FlipBelt. The photo on the right is from the race last weekend and I know you have to agree how much better it looks! The best part about the FlipBelt for me is the fact that it does not bulk you up around the waist. I don’t even think you can see it, which makes me happy. ... show more

  • Sizing, watch how you measure and where you measure..
I went from purchasing a size XL to a Med. Why, because I guess I can't measure correctly?? Based on the packaging size chart I should have just gone with the Medium my first order. I hope this size chart helps you determine what size you should order, I know it would have helped me had they put this in with product information, beyond the measurement guide. FYI I'm 5'4, 138 lbs with hips. I haven't used it for physical activity yet but I know the Med will stay put, not too tight and not loose. Will use for phone and keys, both fit in the belt nicely. ... show more

  • Comfortable and secure
Size: Small Color: Black
I do a lot of walking and hate to carry my phone with me. This belt is the solution! It is a nice thin stretch material and it has slits in it to slide your items in and because it sits around your waist like a waist band nothing moves. This belt is put on by easily stepping into it, there are no hooks or buckles. The phone stays secure in the stretchy pocket. I don’t even know it’s there. It also has a little hook inside one of the slit pockets to keep your keys extra secure. I highly recommend this belt! ... show more

  • Worth it
Size: Medium Color: Periwinkle
I love it! I got the medium and my waist is about 30ish inches. Wore it for a 4 mile run and I honestly forgot I had my phone on me. I have the iphone 16 pro max and it fit no problem. No bounce or discomfort. Worth the money.

  • Great for Runners!
Size: Large Color: Carbon
Worked great! I ordered on a whim for my half marathon and it held my things perfectly! Phone, AirPods, inhaler, all fit great! Band was pretty firmly got around the waist and I had absolutely no issues with it sliding or sagging off my waist.
