Flip-7 is a bit like Blackjack/21 (using 'hit' or 'stay') but modified to use a different number of cards. In this game there's a deck of 94 cards used, comprised of x12 twelves, x11 elevens, x10 tens... all the way down to x1 one and x1 zero. Your goal is to try to get seven distinct values without ever being dealt two of the same values you already have in front of you. To add to the excitement, there's three action cards and also modifier cards that directly augment your score -- you sum the values of the cards you have first if you decided to stay with your present cards, then augment the score with your bonus cards. You play the deck until you run out of your draw stock, then reshuffle the discard pile to form a new draw stock. First player to 200 points wins! Card quality is about what you would expect of standard playing cards. There's a different color used for each number, with each value actually spelled out on the cards for excellent readability. I'd call it colorblind-friendly, certainly! This game can be played with up to 18 players and if you want to add +18 more all you need to do is shuffle two the decks of two game copies together, and you're off to the races on a fast-paced, blast to play game. It's got a small form factor and it's cheap enough in price to perhaps stock up on a few copies of the game in case your group has a little too much fun with it. Definitely would recommend this one!

Super fun, easy to learn card game that involves strategy and some luck. Fun party game that takes only minutes to learn. Games are fast so you can play multiple rounds. Well designed game!

This is an incredible game for the family. Here is why it is great: TIME COMMITMENT: This is a quick game that can be played as long or as short as you want. It recommends playing until someone scores 200 points, but you can opt for a shorter game if you prefer. GAMEPLAY: Flip 7 is a push-your-luck game. You ask the dealer to either hit or stay and gain cards one at a time in turn order. If you are dealt the same numbered card, you bust and don't earn any points for the round. If you stay, you bank the sum of the numbered cards in front of you. The rounds continue until someone gets to 200 points. It may sound simple, but there are special cards to spice up the gameplay (like being able to slap a 'draw-three' card on your neighbor and make them bust). If you manage to get 7 uniquely numbered cards, you end the round, add up points, and get an extra 15 points. WHAT'S SO FUN: The tension builds up well in this game. It can get rowdy with friends as you hoot and holler. You might egg someone on to take another hit, or since you have the "x2" multiplier card, you feel you must take another hit. Then you bust! It is addictive. FAMILY TIME: This is a good family game because you can still have conversations while you play. QUALITY: Flip 7 has well-made cards, but my beef is with the box it comes in. This style of box is always the worst to try to store cards in. If you don't like fighting with the silly box, just use a plastic bag or something similar to store it away.

I really enjoyed Flip 7! We played with 4 and everyone had fun. It's easy to teach and games go pretty quickly. We all liked the card design as well. Everything arrived perfectly. I'm looking forward to playing this with other groups and because it's so fast and easy to teach it'll be easy to introduce to new players. The pushing your luck to get all 7 cards is a thrill xD Happy to have this in my collection.

This is a very fun card game that is extremely simple to learn and play. It’s also a quick play if you want something fast or we sometimes forgo the normal play to ‘200 points rule’ and just keep going for an extended game. The only downside is the cards are more flimsy compared to standard playing cards. We typically use a card shuffler but these cards would get destroyed in it.

A friend introduced me to this game and we loved it! We play with our kids. Its a simple, fun and quick game to play. Great for game night or down time with friends/family. Travels well. I also like the design and size of the game. It is easy to read for my old eyes.
