Bought to replace my old uncomfortable wood desk. It is the perfectt height, sturdy enough to support all my equipment (and sometimes my 2 and 4 yr old), and big enough to accommodate my 2 monitors and laptop with ease. The mousepad top is comfortable/awesome, the drink holder is nice, and the cord holder is adequate. I would definitely recommend this. It's not a showpiece (u less you are going for the gamer vibe) but it's funtio ality is topnotch and the price is extremely reasonable for the quality you get. ... show more

    • Sturdy frame. Giant mat for the top. Great desk!
I'm confident that the top will last me a while but even if it doesn't the frame will last forever. I've got two laptops on here and I lean on it with no issues. It feels very sturdy and stable. I just gripped the top in my hand to try and wiggle it up and down but there is very little movement or give. You can put the cup holder on either side but the headphone holder is always on the left. The cup holder is plastic and feels a little dicey for anything bigger than a 16 oz can. It is a nice big desk which works perfectly. The only issue I had was a single hole for one of the feet to screw into wasn't quite tapped right but maybe I cross-threaded it myself. I was able to get the foot in using a pipewrench and there was a spare. One thing that I thought was kind of the manufacturer is that they wrapped plastic around the packing foam and used higher quality foam so it didn't make a mess like other stuff you might have ordered over the years. As far as I could tell it's probably about the biggest desk at this price point and it doesn't feel like there were many shortcuts in material choice or design. ... show more

Love the desk its super sturdy. I built it by myself in 2 hours. A lot of people say the holes dont line up, but they do. Thats why i dropped one star. I had to figure out that you need to square the middle bracket to the table before putting it together, if not the other holes wont line up. I did it by drawing lines on bar to make sure when i tightened it, it was in the right place. ... show more

Since working from home I needed to get a desk big enough for two work and one personal PC and after researching many desks on Amazon and on WAYFAIR I thought this was perfect and I was right as you can see. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the fact that when it came time to install the two halves of desk together AND install the legs... NONE of the holes matched up and I had to drill new holes in order to connect both halves and legs. I had my own drill, etc so it wasn’t a big deal..Inwas just surprised that I had to to that but other than that.. this is a GREAT buy for my purpose as you can see and I’m very sure if you’re wanting this desk for gaming... you won’t be disappointed!!. I also love the desk top since it doubles as a mouse pad no matter where the mouse is on the desk. I would definitely buy again!!! ... show more

    • It's sturdy enough but it shakes a little
Really what you're paying for this pricetag is the relatively easy assembly and instructions. You're also paying for a pretty wide desk. It works fine for different levels of gaming depending on what you're playing. FPS shooters will enjoy the wide arm range freedom it provides. Three stars for me because it seems like with the weight distribution of the desk, mounted monitors don't sit well with the product. I notice it has the tendency to shake more than my previous desk. I took a bit of a risk buying anything labeled "gaming" on it since usually that's just slapped onto products to sell more stock. I've made some adjustments to reduce the shake and it has helped, but it is still noticeably different than my older, and frankly cheaper desk. Still, a 3/5 for me does not mean its terrible. It clears what I'd consider the "standard" I was expecting. But I'm not screaming its praises or anything. It does the job as advertised without a ton of issues. ... show more

Assembly was not to hard, instructions could be more clear. Reminds me of an ikea. Sturdiness is ok once assembled. Plastic cup holders are very flimsy and doesn't hold cups firmly. Headphone holder is decent if used respectfully. I skipped the wire management net as it looks cheesy. Just to confirm the top is two pieces and connected with metal brackets. Sturdy enough but does leave a seam in the center if your not planning on using the full desk mouse pad. This brings me to the thing that has bothered me the most, the full desk mouse pad. Mine arrived with a terrible folded edge that I have yet to get to lay down. I've tried everything but the crinkled edge is unsightly and continues to be something that catches on everything still after several weeks. The assembly kit gets 5 stars for the simple fact that they have a video available in the product page, a detailed instruction pamphlet and spare parts included (an extra desk foot, extra screws, bolts, and it even includes a screwdriver for assembly). In terms of sturdiness, it’s 3 stars considering the desktop is 2 halves (split down the middle) held together by around 10 screws and a crossbar. This sounds like plenty of support, but the desk feels like it could bend in, separate or break with too much weight. If you’re not interested in using the mousepad it is a separate piece entirely, but you would see and feel the line where the desk halves meet (right where your keyboard and monitor sit). Giving it 4 stars for value, as it is perfect depth for a dual monitor setup (mounted or tabletop) and the height of the desk can be adjusted. ... show more
