For context this printer does print really well. It is extremely easy to use for beginners too. BUT.....after a couple months parts will stop working. The service team online is great at trying to help, but in reality once you fix ome problem another one will come, and then another. Ive been unable to use my printer for about 2 months now because of the back and forth of it all. And now they have the gall to tell me they can't send me a new part because it's past the 3 month warranty even though a majority of that was spent trying to fix the problems the way they asked me to. All in all.....don't buy this. Look somewhere else, save your money. ... show more

    • Amazons fault?
This is my second purchase. The first one did not connect to the internet, but made fantastic prints. The second one had a stripped bolt and the bed would not level. I have sent my printer back within the 30 period, but it was extremely difficult, as neither ups not Amazon had any clue. I wanted 5o exchange it because I actually like the way the first printer worked, even if the Internet didn't work, and was hoping to exchange for something that completely worked, but Amazon refused to exchange and only allows returns now, so I sent it back and they lost it, even though I confirmed tracking and confirmation that they had it returned, but my status did not change and they made it appear that I still have the printer, even though it was returned several days ago, and still have not refunded me and still have not changed my status on my return and I absolutely do not trust returns or exchanges on any item over $20. This item was several hundred dollars and I am still it sure if Amazon will keep their word ... show more

This thing is an absolute piece of garbage! As soon as you update it, it kills itself. It only turns on and shows the logo, and nothing else. It doesn’t work at all anymore. I got Amazon to send me a replacement, and it did the exact same thing. The company has completely nonexistent customer support. I’ve even tried to call the main office in China and no one is there. It’s almost as if they made an update to kill it on purpose because it’s not that hard to not kill your own device. I will be avoiding this company at all costs and making sure everyone I know knows how bad they are. Serves me right for buying Chinese garbage. ... show more

    • Good quality prints, good print volume, Wireless issues sometimes
The printer is great, the build volume and print quality is excellent. The issues come up when you print and let the printer go idle, it will not connect to WIFI again until its rebooted. Another issue is DO NOT trust the Over the Air OTA updates. These updates will trash your printer and you will have to download the firmware again and reflash it. ... show more

    • Never even got to use it
I got this for my kid for Christmas. We unboxed it and followed the instructions that came in the manual to set it up. We’ve never gotten it to work after updating the firmware. The whole thing is frozen. I’ve emailed twice but no response. So disappointed.

    • Wait to update
Worked flawlessly until I updated the software and then it locked up. There was no tech support. I sent it back. Later, I read you shouldn’t update right away, as their first updates usually don’t work. It is better to wait a few weeks for them to get the bugs out.

Let me start by saying that I liked the performance of this printer printing-wise, but on the second day I had it, it freeze up completely because of a firmware upgrade glitch that I had to go on Facebook to learn about and how to correct it - on the 5th day, it clogged up so badly and when I saw what I could do to fix it, the extent of the work involved after 4 days of light use to bring back into working order made me decide this printer wasn't worth it - maybe it was just bad luck, but I'd rather not chance it Edit: For those of you who are reading about the stuck on startup screen - it is a glitch with updating via wifi - if you did that and it is locked up - you need to go to the Flashforge website and download the firmware update onto a flash drive and turn on the computer with the flash drive already inserted into the machine - that will boot up the machine properly and correctly install the update ... show more

    • Very poor / non-existent support
Keep having issues with the printer, things keep going wrong but I can not get any response from flashforge. I am simply asking for help figuring out how to solve my problems and they just will not return my emails, or reply to my DM on facebook this company is terrible with customer service. Update: for some reason my emails were going to their junk mail, then proceeded to show me how to fix this machine by fixing a different model so it wasn't helpful. Thankfully amazon made an exception and let me return this junk. Do not buy this it is crap. ... show more
