I was looking for a pretty, basic black metal headboard. Looks wise, this headboard was exactly what I wanted. Understated but pretty. It was perfect. This headboard has pretty mixed reviews but I decided to throw caution to the wind and order it. It came in two days (gotta love prime) and I couldn't wait to attach it to my bed. I didn't have any issues with scratches or missing paint. It was in perfect condition. When I read the assembly directions, or should I say tried to read the directions, was when things started to go downhill. The letters were so teeny tiny and kinda blurry, I couldn't tell if I was looking at an E or an F. There were tiny little arrows pointing in tiny little places. I have no clue if I properly attached the headboard to the frame but it feels pretty sturdy so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was (semi)confident that the headboard was set when I went to attach the balls to the top of the headboard. I picked up the first one, and it screwed right in. Picked up the second one to attach to the other side and it would not attach. No matter what I did, it would not screw in. I took off the first ball that I attached so easily and tried it in the second spot and again, would not connect. No matter which way I twisted, turned, screwed, whatever, the screw would not go in and I could not attach it. So one side now has the decorative ball and the other side has nothing. I am going to try and superglue the ball to the side that it won't attach to, but really, I shouldn't have to do that. So looks wise, I give it 5 stars, but otherwise, it's a pain in the neck.

I will start off with what I like. The headboard is cute and I like that it came with the appropriate screws and things needed. However, as you can see in the photos it was severely faded and scratched up. My husband had to go out and purchase paint to repaint the entire thing which is unnecessary. We thought we was saving money by buying this but we wasn’t. I would never purchase this again and I wouldn’t recommend it to ANYONE!!!

Even though the assembly instructions were almost impossible to read, this was easy to figure out. Just remember to use a washer on both sides of the leg when you insert the bolts. There are 8 washers for 4 bolts, so it works out. This fit my needs perfectly and I am pleased with how it turned out.

I was wary of ordering this headboard due to the other reviews but thought I might get lucky with an undamaged one. Thankfully, the headboard arrived intact in terms of having no broken pieces or dents. However, there was brown paint transfer or rust spots (I'm not sure exactly what it is!) on all of the slats and posts (both sides), which looks terrible against the white paint. I tried cleaning the spots, but the paint/rust wouldn't come off, so I'm planning to buy some white paint to cover the brown spots. While I really like the style of the headboard, it's not very sturdy. It's made with lightweight metal. It's not a big issue for me since I purchased it more for looks than for practical reasons; however, I do not advise leaning up against it while sitting in bed, because I can't see it holding up much weight for very long. Even though I took note of the measurements before purchasing, the headboard was slightly too big for my full size bed frame, so I had to order a set of extenders (the Ronin Factory Bed Frame Brackets worked great!) to properly install the headboard. I had no problems with the hardware included with the headboard, but the directions were somewhat illegible. All in all, I probably should have returned the headboard, but I do like the look of it, and it would have been a pain to send back, so I decided to keep it. However, I would recommend that you look elsewhere for a better quality headboard!

I ordered the black one, and it arrived with all the parts and the finish was about as good as you can expect -- I ordered it to go on my Zinus Paige Compack 7 Inch Heavy Duty Bed Frame -- but the The headboard isn't wide enough to reach both sides of the frame.... it's only shy by a small amount, maybe a 1/4 inch ...but there's no way to make it fit. I don't know for sure if the frame is too wide, or the head board is too narrow.... I'll be using zip-ties to fasten it to the frame...

The product was made with good workmanship and easy to assemble to the bed brackets. Disappointed with the delivery service (CEVA). Was several weeks for product to arrive. They used an automated system to set up delivery. I felt stranded in my own home waiting for delivery as you needed to be home fro 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. After waiting the whole day my product it finally arrived at 8:30 p.m. Improvement in the delivery is desperately needed with a smaller window for delivery!

This headboard is cheap! DON'T BUY I contacted the seller and they responded quickly by saying they would contact the manufacturer and then never responded again. This contact with me I assume met Amazon's requirement the seller responds within 2-days. I contacted Amazon and they first stated, "We have closed your claim because you did not contact the seller to report the issue within 30 days of receipt, or return the item within 14 days of receiving the return address or label from the seller." NEITHER of these requirements are true! So I contacted Amazon again. They then responded, "Although we understand your position, we have reviewed this claim and we stand by our decision. We cannot give you more information about this matter, and we may not reply to further emails about this claim." Amazon will not help me regarding the misinformation of the seller! DON'T BUY

This does NOT fit your standard full size bed frame. I was able to fit the bottom bolts in at an angle, but the top ones would not fit. I ended up zip-tying it together. Additionally, there is obvious damage/scrapes on the portions of the bed frame that rest on the cardboard when in packaging. The only reason I'm keeping it is because it was so exhausting trying to get it to fit that it's not worth taking apart again. Whenever I end up moving again and have to take it apart, it will be the first thing in the trash.
