I gave 2 stars because this table does look really nice and was easy to assemble and was not at all wobbly, seemed sturdy. However, the description is completely misleading with regard to use outdoors. Purchased & assembled this table at the end of May - since then it's been raining pretty much non-stop (I live in Maine), so it's been wet pretty consistently. As of now, mid/late-July, the table is trash. The aluminum top is wrapped on what appears to be pressed board which is now all warped, the underside "protection", a thick plastic-y paper material, for the wood is all peeling and separated from the wood. OK, so not the end of the world, until it started leaking resin/residue of the wood, running down the base and leaving a huge, sticky stain on my deck. Fortunately, my deck is wood composite, so a few quick shots with the hose easily removed the stain. Had this happened on my old, pressure treated wood deck, that stain would likely have been permanent or much harder to remove. This table does look nice, but unless you have a covered porch, or have means to bring it inside when it rains - look for a different table. Good little table. Heavy, sturdy base so I’m not worried about it falling over. Not wobbly but the top can rotate 20 degrees back and forth if you turn the top - doesn’t seem to “snap” in place but doesn’t affect the table when sitting and using it. Easy assembly, took me about 5 minutes alone. Super easy to wipe off the top which is why I bought it! Love it! ... show more

The table is nice but it wobbles. I ordered 2 to set outside on the patio. The first one wobbles then the second one i tried to assemble different but still wobbles. I put a noodle foam in the base for more support but it still is loose and the top wobbles.

First off, the instructions for assembly are just pathetic. It's a blurry diagram without a single word on it. I had to take it apart 3 times before I figured it out. The included wrench isn't even the right size and the bottom nut is recessed so you'd be better off with a socket. The weak, wobbly piece of threaded steel that goes up the middle is too narrow in diameter to be stable, almost impossible to grip with your hand to screw into the top, and only goes into the MDF top (yes, it's fiberboard) about half an inch, so, I don't expect it to be attached to the base for long. I love the look, though, so, I'm going to get a threaded cup, drill out the underside of the top and glue it in. I'm also going to switch out the wobbly center rod with a piece of the same diameter allthread, and put it back together. It's so weak that the top wobbles in the breeze. The "stainless steel" top is actually just plain steel flashing over a piece of MDF. You can tell that it's just steel because wiping it down with only water left gray, dull streaks that I hope you can see in the pictures. There's no way that this is an outdoor table as the MDF will rot in no time. I'm going to spray the underside of the top with clear flexseal, buff the steel flashing, and seal it with clear Rustoleum outdoor enamel. The base is super sturdy and it looks great, otherwise, I'd return it instead of modifying it. It's definitely NOT worth $100. Especially when I have to basically finish it myself. Don't buy it unless you're looking for a DIY project. ... show more

The main threaded rod that attaches the table top to the base was missing. In addition, one corner of the table top was crushed. I am not concerned about the damaged corner, I just wanted the threaded rod so I could assemble it. I called Flash Furniture and they refused to help me saying I had to deal with Amazon. I called Amazon and they referred me back to Flash Furniture. To date, neither has offered any help. Yes, I could return it but the box it came in is super old and falling apart. You can tell from the box that it has been sitting around for years and was probably a return to begin with. It was definitely sent without the threaded rod. I just need the rod and I have overlooked the top damage. This would be very difficult for me to somehow package and return it. ... show more
