I usually wear medium and Amazon advised it considering all my past orders. I'm 5'3", 135lb. Ordered small considering all the reviews that say these run big and they fit great. The stretch, don't sad, no shrinking after wash. These are like boyfriend jeans and I love how casual they are. They button up and have some distressed spots that add texture and design. I am notoriously frugal and thrift a good chunk of my wardrobe but jeans are tough to thrift since people wash them, they shrink, they fit funny. Buying them new just winds up being easier. I needed a pair of boyfriend jeans that were relaxed enough to fit my middle-aged lady hips and thighs, and didn't have holes in them but still looked worn in. I was basically looking for a unicorn. But then I came across these pants. I wasn't sure about taking a chance on them because...who knows but since they were returnable if I didn't like them I didn't anything to lose. Spoiler Alert: I'm not returning them. When I tell you I absolutely fell in love with these, no joke. They fit amazing through the bottom, hips, and thighs- I love the seam/pleating at the knees so the entire leg isn't quite so wide, and the color wash is perfect. This premenopausal gal was like, "Yasssssssss......" The denim material feels like an old worn-in pair of jeans, not too heavy, not too light, sometimes when you get jeans with a good amount of stretch they can be too thin and weird. Definitely not the case with these! These are super stretchy, and they are not too high rise nor are they too low, they are just right for where I am at in life. Another thing, I totally love the color stitching on the pockets and at the waistline but then what I love even more is when you roll the pants up they used a bright orange to serge the interior fabric. I was hesitant to buy these because they’re not exactly cheap. I have some similar pants from Ralph Lauren that are obviously softer, nicer and better quality, but are twice the price. I wanted a back-up pair of this type of jean, so based on the reviews, I ordered these in my normal US size (large/14). The sizing is true, which is most of the battle with clothing on Amazon, but I can’t say these are great. They’re OK. I decided to keep them to wear in scenarios where I might get dirty and wouldn’t want to wear my $200 jeans - perhaps to a friend’s house with a large dog, a trip to the park or an outdoor party, etc. PROs: —Material is soft and stretchy with well-made seams and did not shrink after drying on medium —Provides some tummy support —Sizing is correct for the US, but size down if in between sizes —Distressing looks good, not over done —Great fit if you have an hourglass or pear shape - waist is smaller and had no gapping in the back. CONs: —Not quite right for this price point. —Buttons are just flat, which looks cheap. —Material is thin and feels cheap. —If you have an apple shape (bigger midsection) this may not fit you well. —The cut of these jeans is wild - pockets and seams are at odd angles - I think this is meant to be flattering, but it looks weird. ... show more

These jeans are so amazing! I was hesitant to buy them because I’m a tall girl and I don’t have good luck with purchasing pants online. Flamingals are so high quality! The fit is perfect, the length is perfect as advertised crop length. The stretch is so comfortable and holds the shape. I’m so impressed! For reference, I am 5’10, 135 lbs. I ordered size small. These are brand new to me but wanted to rave about their comfort and fit. I’m 5’7 and 140 lbs. Got the medium. Length and fit are perfect. Nice and stretchy and roomy. Perfect. I got the dark blue and it’s just right. So excited to wear them. Washing now and will hang to dry.

So cute! I wasn’t sure about the 3 diagonal denim seams near the knees. I’m 47, and didn’t want to look like I ride motorcycles. Very fashionable and quality. They do have some stretch.
