The gridlines are super clear and visible, way sharper than what you'd expect at this price. I've thrown this thing into my backpack more times than I can count and its held up perfectly, no warping or damage. The spiral is actually really useful too because you can flip pages to the back and only work with one at a time which keeps your desk way less cluttered. Would buy again no question.

I am a graph paper kind of gal. In high school I did my math on graph paper and now in college I do everything on graph paper. I find it easier to align my indentations on! I love these notebooks. I have been using them since high school - for the past 6 years! I think that 5 star is worth the money because honestly the notebooks are perfect. Sometimes on graph paper the ink of the pattern is too dark or a little smudgy. Not a problem with these! They are a nice light shade of blue and they are very crisp. I also love that the dividers and folders are included! I have one notebook that has held up to some pretty extreme wear and tear. I think that the cover is very durable. I often stick loos papers in between the cover and the rest of the notebook (they will pile up to the point that it is ridiculous) but the cover never fails me. Finally, I absolutely appreciate that the paper tears out cleanly and easily. I have not ripped a paper... ever! It is really easy to tear it out and I think that is just an important feature in a notebook. 10/10 I will probably ever only buy these notebooks.

This notebook is great. I started making my own crossword puzzles and the boxes are the perfect size for the letters. The paper is surprisingly thick so the ink does a pretty good job of not running through. The pages are perforated so you can easily tear them out, which I love since I mail my crosswords to my dad to solve. The only thing is you can't choose what color notebook you get. I lucked out and got black which is what I would've picked, but it seems silly to not be able to pick which one you want. There is also a pocket for loose paper if you need it. Basically it is just a notebook of graph paper, so if that's what you're after, this will get the job done.

Most of my classmates use that green engineering paper, but I love this notebook for homework and I'm going to keep buying it, even though it's somewhat more expensive than other notebooks. It's a lot easier to take to campus or to a coffee shop than a binder full of loose-leaf engineering paper and it's neater than trying to keep track of loose leaf papers. There's a good amount of space between the top line and the first hole, so I can write my name, the class, etc, and "Given:" up there so I can neurotically keep my margins all in the right place and use space efficiently. The papers are also really easy to tear out without the frizz coming with. The plastic cover is nicer than a paper/cardboard one, but I go through these notebooks quick enough that I can't really comment on durability. As usual with Five Star products, you're paying a bit more for a few extra perks. What makes it worth it for me is the ease of tearing out papers cleanly, but it's a moot point if you're using it for note taking. Only complaint is that the multi-pack is basically the same price per notebook. It would be awesome if there was a multipack of 5 or so that was a bit cheaper so that I could stock up for the whole semester.

I love these notebooks for writing down random notes and lists. I love the graph paper; it makes writing lists and organizing notes easier. I've also used it to draw a little. This is my third graph-paper notebook, but my first time ordering from Amazon. It got to me quickly also! Chose 2-day shipping but only took 1 day! Not sure if it's more expensive than the local office supply stores but it saved me the gas of driving there. And these notebooks are sometimes hard to find with the graph paper. I got the blue, was hoping for pink. I wish there was a way to choose the color, I might be tempted to buy them all!

Just was I was looking for! I wanted a notebook that would remain in good quality even after daily use because I'll need the notes for other classes in the next few years. The paper is nice and thick(as far as notebook paper goes) and the cover is sturdy. I'm a huge fan of Five Star's notebooks. because they just seem to be better quality in terms of paper and staying together than other generic notebooks I've purchased in the past.
