I tried and returned several sneakers, finally tried these and Very happy with the fit and the comfort. I had first bought a half size larger as recommended and they were too large. So returned those and got my regular size and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable right out of the box. This sneaker is very comfortable. It has a very nice arch and room in the toe area. I walk 3-5 miles a day and am very happy with the fit and comfort. I wear size 8 wide and they are true to size.

I usually wear a size 9 1/2, so I ordered a 10 1/2.... still too short.... I did return the 10 1/2 and re-ordered a size 11.... I did get the size 11 with "E" width... feels so much better, and yes they are comfortable, just getting used to them... so order a bigger size...

I'm a 7W/7.5W. Ordered these in a 7W. I've been trying for years to find a comfortable, actually wide width shoe since all the known brands (Clarks, Easy Spirits, etc) have shrank in sizes. One of the reasons for this seems to be the changing of where they are made. In any case, it's been near impossible to find a truly wide width shoe, let alone a comfortable one. Unfortunately these FitVilles only check half the boxes. They are a TRUE wide width-wide enough on the sides AND in the toebox for me- but they aren't comfortable. They are bulky/boxy feeling with weird, slanted insoles. Not for me but I'm hoping another style by this brand will work out. The version I purchased was Amazon Prime with free returns and I returned for free via UPS dropoff.

I have difficulty finding walking or athletic shoes that are wide enough for my feet even when advertised as wide. These were perfect, not too tight across ball of my foot, and did not make the bunion on my left foot hurt. They are light weight. I have high arches. I love the color and look. Now that they are broken in I'm comfortable wearing them all day long. I've been wearing mostly slippers and sandals due to foot pain the last couple years and only 2 pair of closed shoes occasionally when necessary. I wear 6 wide normally but ordered 7 extra wide because it said they run small. This size fits me fine. For $55 I think I got the value for my money. This was the first pair of FitVille shoes I ordered. For the first time in approximately 3 years, I've found athletic shoes that felt comfortable enough to keep, after trying multiple orthopedic styles around $100 and up. I'm pleased with this purchase and would order again. I bought 3 more pair of FitVille athletic/walking shoes since getting this pair. For this particular pair of shoes I was having lots of difficulty with the lacing initially due to finger and hand problems. I re-laced them skipping the 1 side loop and it made it much easier for me to tighten and loosen them when putting on and taking off.

These shoes had a price tag just shy of 70 bucks. You would think for that amount of money, you would get what the description advertised on Amazon, ie. "Upper material: Durable Leather" and "Mesh Knit Upper, Outer material Suede." The body of the sneaker is made of Mesh Knit, but unfortunately, there is not a trace of "Suede" or "Durable Leather" anywhere on the sneaker, as the Amazon description stated. What there is, instead, is a thin, flocked imitation suede and a fake leather around the toe box in the front of the sneaker that just screams, "Cheap Construction" or "You've been duped" !!! Pity-- it was a cute style, but I seriously doubt the durability of this FAKE LEATHER. There is mesh knit, and I did size up 1/2 size larger, so the fit was comfortable, but since I'm returning these little "advertising gems of misinformation", I can't attest to either their "comfort" or "support". The heavy rubber bottom seemed a little clumsy, but that could be a matter of personal style, as a lot of current sneakers styles seem to be gravitating towards the "platform look" which to me, in a sneaker ,defeats it's purpose as athletic shoe, but than again, I'm not looking for extra help getting things down from tall places. It seemed so wonderful to finally find a pair of sneakers I thought would be comfortable, durable, and cute (cute means sneaks that make your feet look smaller, when you wear a size 10, that's important) and than these abominations landed on my front porch and here I am still looking for a decent pair of sneakers. I am very disillusioned with FITVILLE & Amazon. Do Amazon not check to see if what companies like FitVille, are "advertising" is indeed what customers are "receiving" ? Obviously, NOT. SHOE DESIGNERS OF USA can you design a sneaker that is good construction, and while you are at it,consult with a good podiatrist so you make one that's comfortable without making false claims of alleviating serious foot problems such as plantar fascitis, flat feet, or hammer toes that really need in reality ORTHopedic devices to help someone with these serious foot conditions? What many women need are wide toe boxes, durable construction, Sneakers you can wear in the rain, and than dry out without turning into hard little shells of their former selves!!! Sneakers that are reasonably priced, sneakers that are "pretty"...and durable...and most importantly, don't feel like medieval torture devices after a few hours of wear? I am returning the FitVilles. Tried on with the highest of hopes, and returned with the most disappointed of purchases. I am going on the hunt for a pair of sneakers which will fill all the criteria, but I may as well be searching for Sasquatch, or Nessie because like them ,they just may not exist.

I work on hard concrete floors 5 days a week 10+ hours per day. I really needed a shoe dedicated to reliving my crippling foot pain when I came home. I have high arches and somewhat narrow feet so I was concerned these would be too wide. Yet the fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. Not 100% without pain but have helped me the last week a lot. Better than nike and sketchers for less the price.
