I developed a bunion on one foot, causing the big toe to impinge quite painfully on the next toe. Wearing any normal shoes in my old size became very painful. I took a chance on Fitville after reading about their wide toebox, and I am so glad I did. I can honestly say this is the only brand I have found that does not cause me pain to wear. These particular shoes I bought for Pickleball, and they are wonderful for that purpose. They give great support, great traction, and best of all don’t aggravate my foot pain. The only complaint I have, and really it’s more of a humorous thing, is the length of the shoelaces. Just look at the photo on this review. There are literally 20 inches of shoelace protruding on both sides of the shoe for a total of 40 extra inches. What exactly am I supposed to do with all that extra shoe lace? For me, it’s not a problem, since I prefer to replace my shoelaces with lock laces anyway. But it does make me wonder what someone was thinking, supplying such long shoelaces with the shoe.

Product fit as hoped, even was comfortable and light. However, the problem with this shoe is the lack of durability. I play a lot of pickleball and I usually see wear on a shoe after 15-20 hours, with the average shoe only lasting roughly 50 hours, but with these shoes I have seen a lot of wear after the first 6hrs and now after and additional 6 more hours the tread is noticeably gone on multiple spots on the bottom of the shoe. My estimate is maybe I will get 25-30 hours total hours out of these shoes, It is already frustrating to only get 50 average hours out of most sport shoes but to only see 30 hours out of a roughly $100 shoe is very disappointing. I will not be buying these if the future. if a company wants to separate themselves from the rest then my suggestion is to fix the longevity of the tread of a sport shoe, 50 hours is way to short of a shoe tread to last.

TL;DR - Don’t buy these, they aren’t good... When I bought these I was hoping for pain relief while playing Pickleball like I get everyday from my Kuru shoes but sadly that’s was not the case. They are nowhere near the quality of a Brooks/Kuru shoe. These are just basic shoes, they seem to be about the quality I’d expect from Payless Shoes and the insides began to come apart after only four hours of play. Don’t expect to get any real support from these shoes either, they offer nearly no arch support with the included insignificant insoles. On a positive note there is room to put thicker insoles in but with the rest of the issues they still aren't worth buying. The only positives I can offer on these are they are correctly sized and are legitimately wide shoes which is difficult to find in a court shoe. They also have a wide stable sole design although the sole is actually a little too soft/sticky. I minorly hurt my knee playing in them the first time I wore them because I wasn’t ready for them to stick to the court so much. I imagine the soft sole is why other reviewers have complained they wear too fast. Another more minor gripe I have is that the included laces are total garbage, they won’t stay tight no matter how tightly you tie them. If you decide to try these shoes (you definitely shouldn't) do yourself a favor and order a pair of “sport” laces at the same time. Each shoe weighs 13.5oz which is identical to the Adidas Game Court shoes they replaced. Not sure why some reviewers are complaining about them being heavy, possibly they are coming from running shoes which are of course lighter than real court shoes. These are average weight court shoes. I no longer wear these after only 4 hours of play, they actually increased my foot pain and added some shin splint type pain on top of it!
