1. This is a three-finger glove that fits either hand. It is made of mixed materials, with the body made of deerskin, except on either side of the fingers, where an elastic mesh fabric is used allowing ventilation. The deerskin is soft-lined. 2. On the dorsal side of each finger's knuckle (interphalangeal proximal joint) the glove has a transversal slit opening, which helps bending the fingers. 3. On the frontal side of each finger the glove has an additional layer of thick(ish) cow leather at the region of the middle and distal phalanges, which helps gripping the string of the bow comfortably. To provide easy flexing of the finger tips, I folded each glove finger at the corresponding level of my joint between these phalanges, and then put pressure on the folds by clasping a large binder clip (see my attached figure) for two days. This creased a bit the additional leather layer in a manner similar to the soft creases that develop on a long-used leather glove -- to me, this provides a better controlled gripping of the string when using a new glove either for the split-finger or the three-under variant. 4. I ordered an L-size based on their recommended sizing. While the glove fits my hand quite well, the elastic fabric on the sides of the fingers could provide a bit more elastic compression to avoid a slight sliding out of the glove when using a recurve bow of heavy draw weight. _ ... show more

Well made with durable fabric. Fits well and comfortably. Easier to use than a finger tab and provides similar protection from finger discomfort. I hoped that the extra stiff padding would completely prevent the finger pain from numerous shots, but there was no extra amazing pain prevention.

I was using a finger tab and my index finger kept slipping off. I ordered these gloves (size Medium) because it appeared they would fit well. I wasn't disappointed and so far I love them. I am an older woman and my fingers are on the slim side so I didn't want a glove with a lot of extra material that would bunch up. The leather is very soft and soon conformed to my hand. The inside is lined with a soft material, and the knuckle area has a slit so the fingers can bend easily. The sides of the fingers have a mesh fabric that lets in air. I held off from giving a review until I had used the product a couple of times. The glove helps a lot and fits well. My only issue with it is the edges around the finger tips are a little rough. I think they should have been sanded down a little to provide a smooth finish.

I noticed a couple 1 stars talking about this still giving them blisters? Now, Im new into archery so my starter recurve is a 40# pull. For this bow, and for only 10 dollars, this glove is great! For sure if you're shooting multiple hours a day every day or with a higher poundage bow, I think something more durable would be ideal. But hey, for a lower pound starting bow this glove is awesome! ... show more
