  • excellent mirror. good fit and finish. and excellent price
Style: Passenger Side (RH)
oem fit and comparable quality...installation was a snap. removed cracked glass and this one mounts up to the factory hardware. two tabs slide in up top and bottom snaps and locks in place. for $14 saved me a bunch of $$$ compared to the honda piece...same size glass no weird gaps or spaces and convex and everything. great product. excellent price & with prime you always get lightning quick delivery...if you are looking for a cost effective factory replacement or need a new mirror, stop searching. this is it. you won't be dissapointed. ... show more

  • Works Well! Installation Tip for Snapping Bottom in Place
Style: Passenger Side (RH)
I was having trouble getting the bottom to snap in place. The top hooked easily onto the motor mount, but the clips at the bottom weren't clicking in place. I was afraid I might put too much pressure on the mirror and break it--or worse, break the motor mount, which would be a much bigger repair bill. As it turns out, I tried something which helped. I took a small amount of petroleum jelly and applied it to the top of the plastic clips on the back of the mirror, so that when the clips touched the catches on the motor mount, they easily clicked into place. Another tip worth repeating, which helped me also, is to cover the mirror with a small towel while you press on the bottom; and make sure you press with your thumbs more toward the bottom center of the mirror. It seems to be securely in place. If it doesn't hold, I'll modify the review later. At this point, though, I'm very pleased and saved myself enough money to buy a nice dinner out. ... show more

  • Fit perfectly, wholly recommend
Style: Driver Side (LH)
Fits 2008 Honda CRV. I was scouring online for instructions and then I opened the box. It came with clear instructions on how to remove and install. With helpful pictures. Process took me 5 minutes.

  • Good replacement, but possibly different from the OEM mirror
Style: Passenger Side (RH)
I bought this mirror replacement for my 2007 CR-V. I was able to remove the old broken mirror with a butter knife and install the new one in about ten minutes. Snaps right into place and looks fine. I should add that it took only one day for me to realize that my existing Honda mirror appears to be flat glass, while this one is convex. So in my left and center mirrors, objects appear to be at one distance, but in the new one, objects appear to be much smaller and farther away. I also noticed that the Honda mirror does not have the "Objects in Mirror" disclaimer on the glass, while this one does. And that's actually true. Having a different mirror may prove to be unnerving when changing lanes, but I'll get used to it. I'm honestly not sure if there's a difference in the Honda OEM mirrors between left and right, but that's possible. It's an issue to consider when buying this item. ... show more

  • Works!!!
Style: Driver Side (LH)
This works for my 2009 Honda CR-V. It was cheap and easy to pop the old one off and put this one on. I didn't even need the flat head screwdriver they said I needed in the instructions. My old one was cracked down the middle one day. Have no idea how it happened. Thought it would cost a lot to get it replaced but nope! ... show more

  • Couldn’t Be Happier!!!
Style: Passenger Side (RH)
My new mirror fits perfectly and looks great! It was about $100 cheaper than getting one through the dealership AND was delivered to my door in days, not weeks!!

  • Read this instead of installation instructions
Style: Passenger Side (RH)
First off, I will disagree with reviewers who are saying this mirror looks concave or that the distances are very different than the old mirror. This mirror (passenger side for me) looks the exact same and has the same "Objects in the mirror appear closer..." tag line as the original. I believe that this line is only on passenger side one to begin with, so maybe that's part of the confusion for some people. As for installation, toss the instructions in the trash and follow this: #1 Get a patio chair cushion and lay it under your mirror (or work area) in case you drop the new one during installation. #2 Roll down the window on that side of the car (it will give you some elbow room). #3 Get your keys and use the electric mirror motor to move the mirror as far up as it will go (so the bottom is sticking out a little). #4 Pull the new one out of the box and look at it. The part the you need to take off will look the exact same as the new one, so now you know where to stick the screw driver (note mine had a white base on the motor mount, that says on). #5 Using a medium width slot screw driver, gently stick it up the bottom between the white base and the bottom of mirror plate that you need to come off (which is black) and gently work it, prying it outward until it pops off. #6 Mine old mirror had two small wires attached to it (mirror defroster I believe), if you have those, unplug them. Now my new mirror had two small circles where it looked like i could have tried to pull the warming wire mechanisms out of the old mirror and installed them in the new, but I opted to pass on that as it looked as if i would have had to pry the new one open, so i just took the two wires and tucked them back into the mirror housing assembly and no more defrost available on that side) #7 Move your power mirror setting now so that the white base plate moves in the opposite up/down direction (that would be like tilting it down low). Make sure your patio chair cushion is in place, just in case. Now with the top of that white mounting plate protruding out, snap the top part of the mirror in first and then once you feel like it's in good (shouldn't have much side to side play and it will be lined up with the outer mirror housing), you will now snap the bottom part in place by pressing firmly. This took a few tries for me and I almost dropped it once (hence my suggestion of the patio cushion below). #8 Get a cloth and clean your finger prints off the new mirror. #9 Go buy yourself something nice with all the money you saved over having this repaired at the dealership. ... show more

  • Terrible
Style: Passenger Side (RH)
The side tabs on this product were just too large and made it impossible to install. The plastic molding was outside the tolerances I imagine. I needed the part delivered on time and ready to go for a trip. I was promised Saturday delivery and it didn’t come until Monday. So when the part didn’t fit on top of it being late, I have nothing positive to say. ... show more
