I bought a large and both top and bottom fit nicely. I wear a ten pants usually, most times I buy a medium top. I am 5'2". The shorts give you good coverage in the leg that enables movement (getting in and out of a car, amusement park rides...), but they aren't mid-calf either and don't look too "old" - 3 1/2 inch inseam. You can roll the waist and lift the up higher if you need. The crop top hides the waistband. They have inset pockets and a wide elastic waistband that doesn't give me a muffin top. They fit just right and hang nicely. They do not show bulges, bumps, or ripples - the fabric is not clingy and very forgiving if you order the right size. The top is boxy, but still has some shape. It says "cropped," but for me it hits at my hip bones. I can lift my arms with no belly showing. I am short though, so it's not that short for me - 21 inches from shoulder to hem is still on the longer side. My only complaint about the top are the raw edge sleeves. First, they seem a little shorter than on the model; not a deal breaker. But why not hem the sleeve? Every part of this outfit is finished well with double stitching, ribbing, etc., why not put a hem on the sleeve? It's not a deal breaker either, but I like a finished seam. It has little frayed ends, but nothing major and looks like it won't fray easily. I will probably hem the sleeves, but that is personal preference. One star off for those sleeves. The jersey fabric is thick and and the white is barely see through. It is bright white. I tried it on and had a black bra underneath. You could see the bra but it wasn't entirely visible. With undergarments that match your skin tone, the white will be okay. However, I do wish I had ordered a color because after a day out eating and playing in the summertime, that white will get dirty. It looks clean and polished, though. Overall, this outfit is comfortable and looks quite polished - even with those raw edged sleeves. This is great for the summertime. Loungewear that looks polished enough to wear out is always a plus with me.

When I saw this, I thought it looked like the perfect type of at-home to run errands out of the house outfit. I'm always a little worried about a set because I'm definitely a small on top, but I feel like I toe the line between a small and medium for bottoms since I have more of a muscular/athletic lower body (thanks soccer!). For the price, I thought I'd roll the dice! I ordered the pink thinking it was a fun color and would be a great pop of color with jeans or workout pants if just wearing the top. I live in southern California, so I thought the lighter material would be good year-round and function as a warmer climate "sweatsuit." I was really disappointed with the quality of this set when it arrived. The shorts are listed as high-waist, but if you pull them up to be around your natural waist, they are just not flattering if you have athletic legs. Furthermore, then the pockets are so high that you look sort of goofy sticking your hands in them. The waistband is also quite thick, so if you want to wear them lower on your waist so the shorts are not super short, it pulls and creates a major muffin-top issue. All this would have been fine if there was a redeeming quality to the top, but it looks cheap and boxy. I could have bought an inexpensive sweatshirt and simply cut off the sleeves to accomplish the same look. As pictured, the top is shown with a fairly large drop shoulder and the edges of the sweatshirt curled up. When I got it, the shoulder seams appear higher than in the pictures and the ends of the sleeves were fraying. I'm including pictures so you can compare what is shown versus what I received. I wouldn't recommend this set. I may wear it around the house, but don't see myself leaving the house with either piece on.

I ordered this 2 piece short set thinking that if the shorts don’t work, the top probably would. Happily, the shorts are great and I’m pleased with the whole combo. The fit of this set is more streamlined than I guessed. I ordered the xl and was happy I did. It’s not oversized or overwhelming despite the boxier cut and design. The shorts are short enough without making me self conscious and the cropped top shows a little skin if I lift my arms or move in just the right way. It makes this set a great choice for real life, allowing me enough coverage to wear to the grocery store or running errands. One of the things I like best is that it looks really polished and can be worn with espadrilles and fun jewelry or sneakers and a baseball cap. The fabric feels like a cotton blend so it’s a tad heavier which makes it hang well and I’m expecting it will stay pretty wrinkle free. I washed and dried it with no issue. The waist band is wide and stays put wherever I put it. The sleeve length will be my friend as I move in and out of overly air conditioned spaces. I like everything about this set and felt good in it when I tried it on.

The top is cut to retro 80s and is loose fitting and comfortable to wear. I gained 10 lbs so the shorts are snug on me, but that's fine for the fit I like. I also like the pink color.

Item is exactly as described. The outfit is super comfortable, breathable and shorts have pockets! I ordered a large and it’s true to size! I am super happy with this 2 piece set and would highly recommend and order again. I would love in purple! Reference: I’m 5’8. About 195# after gaining 10# from prednisone and surgery. I do have a shorter torso and longer legs. Inseam is 33 inches. I was in about a US size large and headed to a medium before the weight gain. Was about 187. This picture is after surgery and the weight. A lot in the belly area.

I don't like clingy clothes and this outfit isn't. It's nice and loose, especially the oversized top. I love the hot pink color. This feels good when you put it on sort of like a summer sweat suit but attractive enough to be out in the public. I like it.
