While we were traveling with baby this was a great sleep space for her. It’s possible to cover the canopy and make it totally dark even if you need the light on in the room. The mesh around the bottom lets in fresh air. This definitely comes with us if we are going to spend a day outside and it’s super portable. Some cons - The pad on the bottom is crinkly plastic so I covered it with a muslin cloth and tied it off at the bottom with a hair tie to make it more comfortable. The toys are nice and we have them on her play mat now but they are way too high for any baby to reach. Both halves of the top don’t fold down - one half is up permanently and has a metal bar. You have to be careful not to hit baby’s head when you take them out. ... show more

I’ve been using this pretty much daily for our baby born in May. It allows us to be outside with our other kiddos and know she’s in a safe spot away from the sun & bugs! She seems content when she uses it too since she can still see out through the mesh part. If we have the entire thing closed up for bugs, we’ve been putting her stroller fan on the lip just to make sure air is still circulating in there for her. This is such a useful product for us! My only two criticisms would be that I wish the bottom was a little sturdier or a bit higher off the ground. Baby was 6 weeks premature so she’s light, and I’m afraid as she gets bigger it’s going to sag onto the ground. Also, the legs aren’t easy to snap open and closed - I feel like I’m going to break it every single time. Other than that it’s a great product and something I am so happy to have this summer! ... show more

Took this on vacation with us when my baby was 4 months old. Folds up nice so it didn’t take up much room in the car. Used this on the beach to lay my baby in, I did lay a towel down underneath it. Very little sand got into it and helped keep baby shaded.

I like the baby dome but I would have appreicate having the orginal Fisher Price box. This is for a baby shower for my great grandson. It is going to be tacky to bring to a baby shower. Looove this play pen and we use it all the time. It's small enough that I can fit it through doorways without having to fold it down and it's not heavy, so I can hold baby in one arm and carry this to where I need it at the same time. This pen is the reason I have been able to still get a daily shower in. I just bring it into the bathroom with me and set it within sight/reach and baby and I are both happy.
