We LOVED this Advent Calendar! My kids had an absolute blast going through this calendar over the Christmas holiday. The toys were all good quality and perfectly safe for our 1yr old (with minor supervision of course). Our 7yr old just went nuts over it, she couldn't wait for the next day to see what new surprises it offered. I will say that the engineering and design of the box left us wanting for something more. It wasn't terrible per say, but it could have been much better in my opinion. There were multiple instances where a perforated flap was harder than normal to open and you ended up ripping it through to the adjacent piece. Other times it was so darn difficult to get a piece out of the plastic mold that even I had a hard time getting my fat fingers underneath and popping them out. Even with it's flaws and design issues, the end result was a collection of high quality toys that brought a lot of enjoyment to the days leading up to Christmas. It would be nice if they made a different set each year as we would definitely make it our new tradition, but until then I can't say we'll do it again unless we end up donating the prior year's set.

I love Fisher Price little people and so do our granddaughters. When we found this Advent Calendar, we bought it immediately. They couldn't wait to open each door. The Little People and other items included were awesome and they play with everything all the time! Good job Fisher Price on a very reasonable priced, adorable Advent Calendar that provided hours and hours of entertainment!

My son was 4 months shy of the age of 2 when he got this advent calendar. He absolutely loved the characters and wanted to open more than one each day. I highly recommend this!

My one year old absolutely loves this!!! He gets so excited everyday to open the doors. The pieces are well made and so cute!! Wish they made this kind of thing for other holidays.

This was a great present in itself and a nice set up for the first Christmas that my daughter really understands what is going on. She was so excited to check it every morning. Wow this box is gigantic but I suppose that makes sense, just wow! I wish they were not two snowballs and two presents as those were pretty boring days but all in all still a pretty good deal for all the actual people, animals, & snowman. The chairs and dinner table that flips from a picture with full plates to a picture with empty plates was actually a big hit. The dessert table was lacking though as it was just red shapes and very hard to make out what those were to be. The young girl looked almost exactly like one we recieved with an airplane set FYI but that's ok, they are sisters :) The numbers were all mixed around which was a bit annoying and hard for my 2 year old to keep track of how many days were left but I know some people like advent calendars that way, not me!

I love getting my kids advent calendars for Christmas time. This one had all sorts of Christmas characters and accessories for each day. The kids had a blast opening each day up and worked well as a countdown for Christmas.

I like to give advent calendars as a gift for the entire month of December. I present them to family and friends on Thanksgiving so they can start opening the doors on December 1st. This year, I picked up the Little People calendar for my granddaughter (who was born this year.) I've already starting giving her Little People characters (they are excellent for chewing on), so expanding her toys with this particular calendar made a lot of sense. Each day has a great little surprise. Some other brands have much less for about the same amount, so I was really pleased with the toys she will get as she opens each door. There are characters (including Mr. and Ms. Claus) and accessories which will add to her growing set and be fun for every day play throughout the year. The set is geared toward Santa and is not a religious set. Fisher Price does make a Nativity Little People which is a really great set for those who are looking for a toy which celebrates the birth of Jesus. It is not an advent calendar but it could be turned into one if you have your own calendar to put the bits and pieces into.
