My 2 year old played with this at a friend's house the entire visit. Ordered her own and she still plays with it daily. Low and high volume settings. Wish it only came with the low option, but otherwise fun, catchy, educational, inexpensive.

My husband has purchased every Linkimal made for our 15 month granddaughter. He bought this while she was visiting us on vacation. We rode around a lot in our pickup and this certainly kept her occupied in the car seat. Having the volume control was helpful in public. The media could not be loaded. I was excited for the whale, as we have about 5 or 6 others. When I opened it, it didn't work. I assumed it was just because of the factory batteries. But when I opened the battery compartment, there was battery acid in there and one of the batteries was corroded. I put in my own brand new batteries anyways. It worked for about 2 minutes until it stopped working again. The listing also says the regular price today is about $18, yesterday it said the regular price was $28. I paid $10 more for an item that doesn't work. Crappy quality but that's not the fault of Linkimals or Fisher Price themselves, it's the fault of whoever/wherever these toys are being stored ... show more

    • Solid addition to linkamals collection
The media could not be loaded. I wish someone had showed me the features of this whale linkamals as I was debating the purchase. If you are considering trying out linkamals, I would recommend starting with one of the bigger animals like the penguin , owl, or maybe even sloth. This by itself will not wow your kid. However, it is a great addition if you already have a collection. It has numbers 1-20 (similar to owl) , and a quiz button to test your little one. I purchased it because my 2-yr old son loves sea animals. I did feel that he grew quickly bored of this one in comparison to his others. It doesn’t have a per-se music button like the otter , penguin, koala and owl do. I decided to keep it because it’s fun to hear them all sing their main linkamals song and the whale introduces itself. Here’s to hoping my son will grow to like it. ... show more
