  • Bright colors for learning.
I have a 9 month old that we take things out of the box and put them in. He just takes the rings off. But the colors are all very distinguish so there is no confusion in which color is which. The rings seem really soft. Bedable, so could get disfigured if played with aggressively. Overall very nice for younger toddler child. ... show more

  • Classic gift
A generation ago my kids loved both these toys and I was delighted when my Granddaughter received the set as a gift. Both these toys are classics. The bright colours keep the attention of the child. Both items are child safe and excellent for the development of hand - eye coordination. Excellent value especially when bought as a set containing both items. ... show more

For a (9mo/old) babe that prefers banging on pots and pans with wooden spoons to most toys...this toy set was a huge hit! My babe loves to play with all things well... Not toy related lol - pots and pans with wooden spoons? Yes! Cardboard boxes? Of course!! Toys designed for babies/kids...? Uhhh naw, I'm good mom, thanks. In this case, however, babe LOVES this toy set - the shape sorter in particular (though he loves the rings as well). He loves to make noise, so picking the shape sorter up by the handle and shaking it as hard as he can is pretty much the best thing ever - aside from banging on pots with spoons, that is ;) I do agree with some of the reviewers that say the lid is looser than the older versions - for my babe, it's really nice that he can pull the lid off to see exactly where the shape goes once he's put it in the proper hole. So the looser lid style makes that easier for him. Overall, we are very pleased with this toy set! And for the price, it's very worth it. ... show more

  • Easy Upkeep, Super Fun for Kiddos
Our nine-month-old daughter got this for her first Christmas, and immediately fell in love with both toys. They’re easy to clean for your daily upkeep, and durable enough to be dropped, thrown, and chewed without worry of stray plastic. Highly recommend, particularly for new parents who are looking to build out a nice toy collection. ... show more

  • Great toys with one slight flaw
I love the color, sturdiness, and overall quality of this set, especially given the price! My daughter loves throwing things into the bucket and dumping it out. My only complaint is that the lid does not snap or lock on in any way, like the old version I had as a child did. It makes it difficult to get a child to use the sorting holes when they learn that the slightest nudge takes the lid off and they can just toss the shapes in the top. ... show more

  • Love this set
Great value for money. Easy to clean. Easy for baby to pick up. Not a choking hazard. Only thing is you will need to give your feet some toc if you accidentally step on it while holding your baby or walking amongst her toys! Ouch!
