This is our third Dish Drawer dishwasher. We purchased our first one in the early 2000s on the recommendation of a homeowner that had done a major rehab. I'd never seen anything like it, so I hunted it down and bought one for my wife's birthday (I know - sexist gift, but she loved it). Years later, we purchased a foreclosed home and had to install all new appliances. We had loved it so much that we went out of our way to find one for this home. AND WE LOVED IT! This one is to replace a 2 year old Frigidaire Gallery that we paid a pretty decent price for and it lasted only two years. Well -- it took some hunting and our local seller was out of stock until August. I thought, "Maybe Amazon will -- NO! ... " but I did find one here and delivery was two weeks. It actually showed up in ONE WEEK. One day - ding dong - here's your dishwasher. We dropped everything, quickly uninstalled the POC Frigidaire (do NOT buy that) and then installed this one. Installation was not something for a first timer, but for anyone that's previously installed a dishwasher, it's not much different. You have two drain hoses, but it comes with a Y-adaptor to go into your garbage disposal - so pretty simple. It has a standard 120V plug (US), which some manufacturers charge extra for. If you want to hard wire, cut off the plug and make sure you do it properly (or get an electrician). Total time to install was less than an hour. We absolutely LOVE having two drawers that operate independently. You just rack your dirty dishes in the unused one, then by the time it's full the other one is done. OR if you have a big event, you can do all the plates and bowls in one and all the flatware and glasses in the other (or any combination you like). This really is awesome. The functions are pretty good and it washes perfectly. One thing to get used to -- they do not like tablets or packs. Powder or liquid only. This is not a big deal for me. Powdered detergent works better anyhow. BUT - this model does come with parts to modify it for dishwasher packs if you must use those. I don't like them, so the parts and instructions went straight into storage. This is a GREAT dishwasher and it looks really nice in the kitchen.

We couldn’t use the holes cut into the cabinet for the previous dishwasher. We had to cut new holes in the floor of the cabinet and low on the side of the cabinet for this install. We had to fish the hoses through the hole in the cabinet floor. It was not easy. Once installed, it has been great dishwasher. The dishwasher does an outstanding job washing dishes. It is easy to load and unload. I appreciate not having to bend so far to load the dishwasher.

The Diswasher failed after using it a couple of times. Be sure to read the Warranty very carefully, fisher paykel told me if I installed it repairs are not covered under warranty will not do repairs unless this is installed by a Liscensed Qualified person. I installed this myself according to Fisher Pakel instructions, and they will not repair it because of this. The unit is only about 3 months old. The service tech will not touch it. Fisher Paykel service has gone to the devil. It is terrible. I used this thing a couple of times and then the top drawer stopped working. Fisher Paykel uses a third party repair tech, either he dosent know how to repair it, or he is just out for the service call fee. Which I will not pay to anybody. The service tech does not have good reviews.

This was my fourth Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer dishwasher . I move a lot ! In a household with only two people we use it like a distorted drawer and rotate drawer to drawer to use as a dishwasher . Very efficient and easy to operate . However the delivery process and length of time for delivery was too long and very frustrating . I think I will buy from a proper bricks and mortar store in the future .

I bought the Fisher Paykel double drawer dishwasher because I had another one in my last home. I love the double drawer system. My husband and I are retired so it takes a while to fill a regular dishwasher. This one is wonderful, I can run one drawer or both independently. It cleans my dishes without spots or leaving any food on. It’s one of the best purchases we have ever made. I would do it all over again.

Love the two drawer option for when you have smaller loads or larger pots or bowls to enable you to separate out the dishes from the larger items. It’s a fantastic dishwasher and whisper quiet. Relatively easy to install as my hubby did it on his own and he is NOT what one would call super handy. Overall we are very happy and hope it lasts as long as my last one.

This is our second Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. Our first one lasted over 10 years. It would have lasted longer, but felt it was time for a more updated version. Runs very quiet and gets dishes super clean. Love that I don’t have to bend over to load the top drawer. Normally there are just 2 of us home, so usually can get by with just the top drawer.
