I know and love this product, so when I pay top dollar for it, I expect it to be in pristine condition when I receive it. I started a thread about fimming and mentioned what I used, when someone questioned Fish!t, I deferred to a much more experienced grower who stated that it was the best thing he’s found in the last two years, he included root pictures that were amazing. First off, I’m not questioning whether or not this product works. Just questioning why ANYONE would want to spend this type of money on these bottles. Yea, microbes work. But you will have the same / better results just making your own aerated compost teas. With a pump or o2 grow oxygen emitter, you can heavily aerate your water bucket/reservoir and brew a more potent microbial inoculant. Get yourself some Oly Mountain Fish Compost from Build A Soil and for under $50 you will have everything you need to make your own Fish Sh!t in much greater volume than you can purchase it. Don’t forget to feed the microbes though. They love kelp, molasses, raw cane sugar (though it lacks the mineral content of molasses), etc. If you think brewing compost teas is messy and can’t be done at home you are mistaken. I used to only use bottled nutrients but since realizing that I was overpaying and under receiving, I’ve switched to using Build A Soil 3.0 as well as my own homemade soil mixes. Microbes work, but you don’t have to overpay! And if you don’t want the noise of an air pump, you can make an electrolysis machine for $10 or buy an o2 grow emitter for $200 that will super oxygenate your water and have your teas ready in just a few hours. Then you can refrigerate them and they will be good for 30 days. Don’t use them more than 2 days after removing from aeration. When using electrolysis, oxygenate your base water until it is highly cloudy and oxygenated. Then ass your tea inputs (compost, molasses, rock dust, kelp meal, SLF100, fermented comfrey extract, phoyosynthesks +, azos, mykos WP) and agitate. Fill another bucket up with water and oxygenate the base water, then when you are ready to feed you can add the oxygenated water to the tea you’ve been agitating and the microbes will multiply by crazy.
