I’ve installed a few ceiling fans, this was by far easier. I think I installed it within 35 minutes from box to installed. Only comes with 2 wire nuts, but has 3 wires Green, Black, and white. The fan blows great, but the light is a little dimmer than I hoped, but it works. This is great for someone just trying to find a replacement and nothing too fancy. I was looking for an inexpensive range hood that fit my 30 inch cutout over my stove. This fits and looks good, but the internal components are all plastic. I took the filters off and washed them in the dishwasher after getting them greasy frying some food and now they have dark spots all over them. I am really disappointed and wish I could order another set of filters. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new set of filters for the range hood. I couldn't be happier! It looks great again! Pattern Name: White 2-speed Exhaust Fan
Installation can be done by one person but there are serious issues for me. The vent cowl adapter supplied is way too wide for my stove vent. I was able to modify the vent area for my vent. Second issue: I had to bend the vent pipe because it came too far into the hood which would (correction here) have rested on the fan motor. You do have to be careful about replacing the filter as, if you bend it upward(toward the fan blades) it will bind on them. (end correction) I don't have an option to replace the vent pipe itself at this time. Third issue. The electrical connections require routing into a junction box. There is no provision on the hood to enclose and protect those connections from the usual grease build up to be expected in a range hood. Last issue: You almost have to damage the filter to replace/install it as it is not spring loaded. The clamps are fixed in place. I would not recommend this item. ... show more

The light is a little dim but I'm fine with that. Fan is super quiet compared to my old one. Easy to install. Three wires six screws and you're done. Took longer to take the old one out then to install the new one. So far, so good. I'm satisfied.
