It took 3 tries to get it. The first try they sent the wrong one. Second try it got lost in transit because of bad weather. Whoever was making the decision kept pushing back the date of when I could get a refund. I finally just ordered another because I got tired of waiting. I contacted Amazon after I received it and they were quick and helpful about getting my refund on the second one that never did show up. I’m a bit irritated that they don’t give Van Gogh credit for the art work on this. All that aside, it’s beautiful. It’s great quality. I had purchased a kindle for a friend and got her the pricey and boring brand name cover. When I compared mine to hers, this one was the winner hands down. You don’t need to be a genius to figure out how it folds and there are so many choices of design and color. It was easy to get my kindle in it and it’s snug. No concerns about it coming loose. I’ve had no problem keeping it clean and I can be a bit of a slob. It’s a good thickness and feel confident that my kindle is well protected.

I liked this cover so much for my previous Kindle that I bought one for the 2024 new Kindle Fire. The surprise is that the back casing is a hard material instead of a softer, more impact resistant one like the first gen cover and the inside cover is now sky blue (previously mid-grey) so it might show smudges/stains easily. Second disappointment is that the cover, when folded back to make an angled stand, does NOT want to hold the shape; there is no magnet in this case to keep things in place. Good for the price but I like the old case much better.

This is for my 11 year old. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't fully protect her tablet, we all know kids can be rough with things. But so far it is holding up! Great quality, sturdy, very pretty (the pictures do not do it justice).
