Fit is perfect and no break-in was required. I was surprised at how light they felt even with steel toe so I weighed them. Mine are size 13 and standard width; they only weigh 1 Lb. 6 Oz. each. Also, I like the "Memory Foam" which makes you feel like you're walking on a slight, not too soft, cushion. Since so many of these companies replace brands and styles so often, I hope to soon purchase another pair for future use before these disappear. Feb. 20, 2021 Update: After 3 months of use in all kinds of inclement weather I remain very pleased with these shoes. Very durable, dry, and comfortable under all conditions.     • Need wide widths

Had a pair of these shoes when they were just the regular sneakers. Felled in love with the insole and tried to find them again but couldn't. Saw these with the same insole that those had, so took a chance and bought these. They're alright. Fit a little tight need wide sizes. Length is fine but width is terrible hopefully can break them in. Update: Nope couldn't do it. Tried wearing them but they're very uncomfortable. Tight across the sole and toe area. Wore them for one day barely could get through a 6 hour shift without having to sit and take them off. Need a more wide width shoe. Trying to see about sending back. ... show more

First off I work in a very large manufacturing facility and I do a lot of walking, about 4.5 miles average per shift, these are very comfortable, after a 2 day break in. Let me explain, the point where the safety toe ends on the outside of the shoes is at the midway point of my pinkie toes, so when I step, the leather pinches inward onto my toes, this was a bit painful by the end of the first two shifts. I was sort of hesitant to purchase these from reviews that read saying that they were kind of narrow, yet some people said they were just fine. I went ahead and ordered them and took the chance. My shoes arrived in two days. Picked them up from one of amazon lockers , tried them on and they were perfect. I immediately got online and ordered another pair. Can't beat these for the price , I have worn Fila casual athletic shoes in the past and they were always comfortable and held up well. Hopefully these will hold up well. ... show more

I am an active 76 year old. Bought these for working in barn and working on equipment. I decided to buy size per instructions. I was concerned because of some reviews. They fit perfect. They are light weight and very comfortable. I have walked on tile, concrete and epoxy finished floors and the squeaky noise goes away in 10 minutes for good. The insoles are comfortable and tread does not hold debris and gives excellent traction climbing up on farm equipment. When cold weather returns I will return to my insulated boots, but for warm weather I am extremely please. Bought them on the 7 day trial program. Would recommend them. ... show more

I wear a size 9.5. The 9.5 I ordered were way too small to fit comfortably. It seems a steel toe was added to a normal shoe making the shoe too narrow and short. I ended up returning them and ordered a 10, which were also too small (also returned). The 10.5 fit in the toe area but was too wide for the rest of the foot but since I needed shoes I decide to keep them. The shoe has lasted 5 months and needs to be replaced. I'd prefer to not buy these again but, I'm very limited as to what shoe I can wear because of company policy. ... show more

Some of the best work shoes I’ve ever had. I am a professional houseman for one of my gigs..so a lot of heavy equipment and lifting..with these I have never had crushed toes or broken toe nails. Grip support is fantastic as well. I also work front of the house server/bartender and these black work shoes are versatile enough to be worn in the back, as well as the main floor. Love them. However they were recently stolen out of my locker..so will look into repurchasing once money gets a bit better. ... show more

These work shoes are very well cushioned, as advertised. But I should have ordered a half-size larger than normal. I always take size 10. But the area near the toes is way too tight. When not in use, I have been inserting bocks of wood in them to get them loosened up and widened a little bit. Not a good fit for the size I expected.
