The pack did have an odor when I removed from the packing but it soon dissipated upon being out in the open. I purchased this pack for myself to use on an upcoming vacation, so I won’t be putting ammo or anything hunting related in it. I just wanted something with a lot of pockets, waterproof and quality work that wouldn’t cost me a fortune as I won’t be using it too frequently. I had the opportunity to use this pack for a weekend trip and must say I am in love! It feels nice on and the two main compartments are nice and deep. The front pocket has a place for a pen, there is a mesh pocket with a zipper and a few other smaller pockets. I think this is a nice multipurpose pack that you can’t go wrong with and you get a good quality backpack for what you spend!

Use this for deer hunting I LOVE all the compartments and the straping is made for women and I'm large on top. Very comfortable. I love it so much I bought 2. Got the second one for fishing, hiking or camping.

I can’t be happier with this amazing backpack. I am the type of person who looks for quality items to buy, and I definitely consider this quality! It looks great and is super comfy to wear, I went to Colorado for an elk hunt and this backpack made the hiking easy on my back due to the two straps. I also use it for whitetale hunting and it keeps all the things you need in it perfectly! I recommend it and it seems to be holding up increadably ! if your hesitant to buy, DONT BE!! Well worth every penny !
