I figured I could probably go straight to the source for a more affordable solution! This thing is GREAT! It’s made out of some strong feeling material and weighs about the same as a metal lighter - exactly what I wanted from it! The device slides around flawlessly. If you rub it off track it simply snaps back together. The detail is very sleek and adult oriented. This would not look childish on your desk at work. The packaging was also great, coming in a nice plastic case presented well. It also includes a small felt bag, screwdriver for repairs, and some spare parts for if yours starts getting dull. Great buy! The construction and appearance make the price totally worth it.

This is my first fidget device to help me keep my hands busy to help me quit smoking, so I'm brand new to the whole fidget stuff. This was packaged like a premium item! For something so small, it's heavier than I expected! I'm hesitant to even call this thing a toy, because it doesn't feel like a toy by any means! But that isn't a bad thing because it feels like you have something substantial and well-built in your hand! The clicks and the feedback are outstanding, so the magnet strength is spot on! If I had known how awesome this little gadget was in advance, I would have paid the higher price for the blue version. Best of all, it was shipped fast! It came in a day sooner than expected!

A high quality, solid, hefty slider. Strong magnets but profoundly frustrating to try and make it move like the video. Pinched skin and flying fidget. Unless you have exceptional finger strength and true legerdemain you'll likely find the same. High quality as all their products are and the only reason for less than 5 stars is just the difficulty of using in the advertised manner. If you're up for the challenge then this will be a great slider for you that should give years of good use.

UPDATE: changed from two stars to five stars. After I left the review, the seller reached out and advised me that the version that I received was outdated, and there was actually an updated version that would address all of the issues that I have listed in my prior review. They also offered to send me the new version free of charge so I can test it out and compare it to the old one which I accept. I have now received the new version, and I can confidently say that this is a superior version to the old one in every way. First, they have changed the black plastic plate, where the two halves meet. They also fixed the screw holes so now the screws stay flushed in the holes without going too deep and damage the plate and last, but not least they have finally changed the magnets arrangement! They are now default to four strong magnets in the corners and four weaker magnets in the middle. That makes a huge change in the way fidget slides. They have also provided four extra weaker magnets and four extra strong magnets. I opened the slider up and put in the dampers to make them quieter and put on the Teflon tape. They are now one of the best infinite slider for its value and construction quality. I now highly recommend this slider to anyone whose thinking of getting into sliders as this one take inspiration from another very similar slider, which cost 10 times as much. I have shared a photo of what you received in this new version. I would recommend the seller to stop selling the old version altogether because all you’re doing is harming yourself when you have this superior version.

The media could not be loaded. This says "silent" but it's not silent. Also, there is a sheet of rubber buttons that come with it to install and make it quiet, however there's only enough for one side of magnets (6) instead of both sides of magnets (12). False advertising on that part, but otherwise it's a great fidget toy with good quality magnets. It weighs enough to feel it in your hands but it's not considered heavy to me. Very easy to play with!

The media could not be loaded. Love this fidget. It feels solid in your hands, being all metal, and the magnets have a good pull to them. I bought another fidget of the same type, by another manufacture, and it was just too small with not as much resistance. My first one, I ordered another as a backup, came without the teflon tape installed. Don’t mistakenly take it apart if you’re not looking to add the dampener pads to make it quieter. Personally, I like that it’s louder. It has a good metal clack to it as you spin it and slide the plates across each other. The movement is frictionless though thanks to the teflon tape—it’s smooth in the hands. It also comes with spare teflon tape, dampener pads, a soft cloth bag, and a torx screwdriver. All in all, a great value to me compared to the other options on the market.

The definition of silent is to make zero noise not less noise. They advertise “sound and silent” in the product name and description. This is anything but silent. I followed their video instructions that show on the black model exactly because their written instructions are a joke. I ended up using both replacement sticky pads to double check my work. Putting their “quiet pads” in does absolutely nothing. If you are looking for a silent fidget for sensory needs this is not it.
