I gave 4 stars because the color is not true to the photo on the amazon listing. The purple is not the same shade. Otherwise, I like that it came in a square box, not folded up, with a foam roll in it to keep its shape. Was a little tricky to put on. I started at the top of the steering wheel and worked my way down until it was on. Then I noticed the black portion at the bottom (without purple) didn’t line up with the seams on my steering wheel. My OCD couldn’t handle it so I tried to rotate it so it’s centered. That didn’t work because the rubber grippers on the inside of the cover do a great job of keeping it from sliding around the wheel. So then I took it off, rotated my steering wheel so that the bottom was at the top. Then reapplied the cover upside down so that I could center it with the seams on the steering wheel. Now it’s on and I’m pleased with it. Just wish the purple was more purple-y like amazon shows. It doesn’t match my vent covers like I thought it would. ... show more

This steering wheel cover fits TIGHTLY on the wheel. You have to wrestle it on BUT once it’s on, it fits well. The material is solid and thick. It feels very smooth and comfortable under your hands. I am hoping that it will keep the wheel a bit cool this summer and I’m sure it will be warm this winter. I’m very happy with my purchase! Not really fond of the lead warning AFTER receiving it. Site says it will fit my jeep. Like hell it will. Couple inches too small. My fault I guess, shouldnt have been lazy and just measured the damn thing instead of relying on amazon to get it right. I am VERY disappointed in this cover--#1-it is not bright like the picture shows, it is a dull purple and #2 it smells like cigarette smoke to the point that I will be removing it from my vehicle. My jeep is brand new, I do not smoke nor has anyone been in my jeep that smokes but my hands smell like cigarette smoke every time I drive it-this is unacceptable. Before ordering this steering wheel cover I put in the make and model of my car, I have a Prius which has an odd shaped steering wheel, and it confirmed that it would fit. It does not. It is too large. It also has a very strong chemical smell that is still present after 5 days of being unboxed, and transfers to my hands while driving. I kept it on even thou it doesn't fit 100% to see how it would hold up, but couldn't take the smell or the free movement anymore and removed it yesterday. ... show more

I love it! It was a little bit of a struggle to put it on, but I turned my heaters on full blast (it was cold out), pointed the vents toward the cover and it made it a lot easier to put on. It does suggest using a blow dryer, but I didn't want to hassle with all that. It's also not as vibrant purple as the pictures, but I didn't mind so much. It's very snug on the steering wheel, too. I bought this for my husband's traverse. He had a cover on that would slip. I hated it and didn't want it to cause an accident. He said he struggled to get it on but that's only bc it's the right size. Now that it's on it fits perfect and is comfortable too.
