With car seat covers, I’ve honestly learned that price doesn’t always equal quality. Whether you buy them at a department store or on Amazon, sometimes the expensive ones disappoint you, and sometimes the cheaper ones end up being surprisingly solid. It really feels like one of those product categories where the price tag doesn’t always tell the full story. These particular seat covers were definitely on the more affordable side, and I’m honestly glad I gave them a chance. The instructions were easy to follow, the fit on the vehicle was much better than I expected, and installation itself was pretty straightforward. Aside from a slight “new product” smell at first, it was basically just a matter of slipping them over the seats, zipping everything up, and getting them adjusted correctly. Zipper Quality was Great as Well! And once they were on, the car honestly looked ten times better. That’s really what I was hoping for in the first place. I wanted something that would improve the appearance of the interior without spending a fortune, and these absolutely accomplished that. That’s why I always tell people not to automatically assume expensive means better quality with seat covers. These were purchased at a bargain price, but they still ended up giving me the look and functionality I wanted. Now the interior looks cleaner and more stylish, and I still have a little more money left in my pocket because I didn’t overspend trying to achieve that result.

I was a bit apprehensive ordering seat covers because in the past I have had problems with seat covers. But for only $26 I thought, why not give these a try? I ordered them for a 1988 Camry that I had recently had paint and body work done on. The exterior looked perfect so I needed to do something about the seats. Boy was I surprised. The fit was fantastic and they look great. The material has a nice soft feel to it, and the color is flat black almost like a zen meditation cushion. The bucket seats are completely covered; the covers are not open in the back. The back side of the cover is made from a different fabric of the same color, that stretches, like black nylon. There is an opening in the top for the head rest to fit through, and separate covers for each head rest. To install the seat covers I removed the head rests. I added the head rest covers and reinstalled the head rests easily through a flap on top of the seat cover. The front seat covers would easily have been worth the price alone, but the set also includes back seat covers. The back seat cover has a separate piece for the seat and another for the back rest. In the past, I have purchased seat covers from other well known providers that make custom covers and I have been really disappointed with the so called custom fit that you pay a premium for. Not this time. These covers fit really well. They use good quality straps that use a friction retention device that allows you to pull the straps tight from front to back underneath the seat. Also they use elastic straps on each corner of the seat cushion that you connect together with metal hooks under the seat. This allowed the seat covers to be stretched and fitted in the right directions to make a tight and smooth fit. The hooks were included with the seat covers, and I didn't need any tools. It took me about an hour to install the two front seat covers, and an hour to install the back seat covers. I am really amazed at how nice they look and feel. I am so pleased that I am going to buy another set for another more recent model of Camry that I own. These covers are a real bargain, and I would strongly recommend them to others.

I purchased the Black version 5 years ago in 2013 for my 2008 Honda Civic four-door. It has held up just fine for me. I installed everything except I did not install the covers on the headrests. I thought it looked a lot better that way because the head rests acted as a color accent that matched the car when exposed and the fit was a bit large. Note that right after you install, the material will have folds and wrinkles. But after a bit of time these will smooth out and the appearance will improve significantly. The downside is that over time the black does fade. It bleaches in the sun. So the color is slightly off-black in parts. However, I think it took a couple of years for that to happen. Another reviewer said that the fabric ripped easily but I did not find this to be the case. The material seemed pretty sturdy and held up pretty well. However there was one incident where I pushed a heavy object with a sharp corner across the back seat and it created a small tear. Though that was after the material was a few years old. And it didn't have rips other than that. For the most part, these covers worked just splendidly for me. I never had issue with them being hot because they were black in the sun. I think that it's thanks to the cooling nature of whatever material they used. I am now planning to purchase this cover again as I will be giving my car to my parents and i am trying to spruce it up for them. The other only downside was that I remembered it was a bit confusing to install. There are straps that you have to tie together underneath the seats. So I am not looking forward to that part. Also I remember the back seats were pretty difficult. I had to pull the material through cracks behind the seats. Maybe I can find a way to unhook the back seats to do that easier this time. Overall these covers are great for the value. They provide full coverage for all the seats and I couldn't ask for much more.

Considering the price they are pretty good, better than using old T-shirts, towels or blankets as seat covers - these covers are made out of a thin and cheap stretch nylon/polyester material that is backed by some even cheaper and thinner sponge material. The fabric reminds me of the stuff they make cheap Halloween costumes for kids out of. The headrests are horrible - basically an ill-fitting bag that slides over the headrest - you get 4 of them. The front seat covers are easy enough to get on because they are only 1 piece each, had a bit of trouble getting the top part to clear the headrest hole, but with little modification it was no problem. The rear seats were another issue - if you're comfortable taking the bottom of your rear set out, again, no worries - but if you're not then I suggest another set. The rear seat is 2 pieces - a piece for the backrest and another for the bottom seat part. I have a 2009 Chevy Malibu and the bottoms to the rear seats were easy enough to pop out and secure the cover - the covers are held in place by a series of cheap elastic bands and clips, don't pull too hard or they rip right off. There are no holes for the seat belts so you may have to so some modding, like I did - my rear seat is a 60/40 folding one so that was another issue - I think that this set is more intended for the once piece backrest not the split one - I also had to remove the rear headrest and poke holes through the fabric so I could reinstall; either way it fit, and when the fabric settled and wrinkles came out, it didn't look too shabby. Overall I give them a 3 out of 5, but only because they're so cheap in price - the fabric is so-so and the construction is meh...if you've got some spare change and need covers this is for you, if you want quality then visit the dealer. ***Edit October 2012: Its been about two years now and I have to say that the seams have all held up, no rips or tears - the only issue I have had is that the covers have faded with the sun extensively. The rears of the back headrests look they are light grey and the front seat covers look light brown. I can't complain too much because they've done their part to keep my seats safe. I'm looking to replace them, maybe I'll order a new set and see if the quality has gotten any better. I'll update if I do. ***Edit January 2013: I recently traded in my car and was surprised to find a mess under the car seat covers. Apparently the spongy material acts like a sifter that blocks the larger dirt and allows very fine particles of dust to enter and settle. When I went to take off the covers I was surprised to find what looked like dark colored talcum powder in little piles along the crevices of the the seats. Also I have a habit of riding with a soda can or a cup between my legs - don't judge, I like feeling...brisk. The condensation from the drink flows into the seat cover, mixes with the fine dust and leaves awesome little dirt rings on the fabric. In retrospect I should have checked more often or taken the covers off to clean, but then again isn't that what they're for?

OK, I don't usually write reviews, but this product is worth the time. I ordered these seat covers in orange for my orange Dodge Dart. I received them two days later. In the package were two bucket seat covers, two headrest covers, and a small bag with 4 clips inside. The covers are one-piece per seat, meaning they have the seat-back part and the seat together, attached at where your seat-back will meet the seat. Instructions were clear, in English, and printed on glossy heavy stock paper. The entire package comes inside a plastic zipper bag of the style you might buy sheets in. Having read some previous reviews, I read the instructions twice before beginning, and was patient and gentle with all the straps. Basically you just remove the headrests, slip the bucket covers over the top as though putting on a shirt, pull the seat part down to cover that as though putting on your pants, and then you do your belts. Each seat cover has two netted nylon straps that crawl through the seat crevice and attach into a plastic buckle under the front of the seat. Then there are two elastic straps which cross the seat underneath from left to right. You attach these to each other under the seat with the little clips. The two headrest covers slip on like pillowcases and can optionally be tied underneath the headrest with attached elastic straps, or not. Then you put the headrests back on and you're done. Obviously your mileage may vary depending upon what kind of car seats you have, but for me, I didn't have to cut anything. The first seat cover took about ten minutes because I've never done this before. The second seat took less than 5. The fit of the seatcovers is pretty dang good. If you've tightened everything properly and do just a little tucking, and make sure to sit on the seats so you see if and where fabric may move to, they should look almost fitted. The fabric has just a little play to it to allow you to move the seat and whatnot. My seats are not power seats so I have very little underneath the seats, which made strapping easy. If you have power seats, I don't know, but there seemed to be plenty enough strap given that if you can get the straps under there, they'll do their job. The headrest covers are designed with wide headrests in mind. If you're standing more than, say, six feet away from my car, you would think my car came with premium seat design options. Only on real close inspection, probably actually sitting in the car, can you really even tell these are covers. The material feels like, maybe a scuba wetsuit would. Comfortable actually. Colors are bright, vibrant, and exceed the stock picture. Very happy. Especially at the current price point... For $20 I'm a big fan, and I won't even care if they should eventually tear somewhere or fade a little with the sun, for $20, I'll just buy more! You should get these. You'll probably be happy.

So, I got these and can't return them because they are already all screwed up and broken, they are cheap and you get what you pay for. It wasn't too hard to put on, but it wasn't easy either. I have an older Chevy Blazer. It took me little while, a lot of swearing and a couple of cuts to my hands to put them on and get the straps into place. They have elastic on them, but they do not stretch around or hug the seat, you have to use these straps with black plastic clips like a backpack shoulder strap. .. The first one went on no problem until I tried to tighten the strap and broke the plastic piece. I had the same issue with one of the back seat straps. They don't really stay in place right, and the Velcro that sits on the seat pulls open easily causing them to rip and the nylon to run with in a few days of use. My trucks seats are not cloth, they are leather... well, fake leather, so they seat covers just slide all over the place. I also have a dog that rides in the back, who somehow managed to get the cover off, and when I went to fix them noticed another plastic clip had broken. Save your money...

First off, I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the look of these seat covers. I just got done installing them in my 1993 Honda Civic CX Hatchback, and considering the fact that it's a sub-compact car, they fit the seats about as well as could be expected for universal seat covers. Pro's: - Clean, sporty look. - Minimal modifications/cuts needed to achieve an integrated fit. - Snug fit, they don't noticeably slip or move when you slide in and adjust yourself. - Relatively easy and very straightforward installation. - I purchased the black/blue covers, and much to my delight the blue matched the stock blue paint on my Civic and my Type-R steering wheel cover almost exactly. Con's: - Being a universal fit, they're a bit loose in some spots, but I can't fault them terribly since I installed them on a sub-compact. - The headrest covers are HUGE, so I just left them off of my two front seats. They would of looked nice, but my seats were already a very dark blue, so the stock headrests blended well enough. - This is more of a gripe than a con, but the headrests on my Civic are semi-permanently attached and don't just pop off easily, and they're mounted to a single thick arm offset on the far side of the seats. Trying to get the seat covers to fit straight was a definite struggle because of where the headrest arm was mounted, and I wish that the headrest hole on the top of the seat covers was a bit wider to accommodate headrests like mine, purely for the sake of alignment, but with a little elbow grease you can still make it work as is. Overall, I'm very happy with these seat covers, especially for the price. I've only had them installed for a day and I've already had loads of compliments about the covers.
