Love the guitar, great deal with case and accessories. HOWEVER, keys locked in case and unable to get a hold of the seller. Had to pick the lock which damaged them. Would be a 5 star purchase but this is a significant issue which the seller still not responded.

I've owned dozens of guitars over the years and this is the first time I ordered one sight unseen from Amazon. My thought was if there was any problem, Amazon is great at working things out. I expected the guitar to need some setup but I was wrong. Straight out of the box, it's a great guitar. Fender sets them up pretty well out of the factory so the play-ability of this guitar is excellent. I feel it needs no adjustments at all. The fit and finish is outstanding and the electronics are very nice. I can find no flaws whatever and the sound is pure Fender. I am quite happy with the guitar. The rest of the bundle is less satisfying. The case, while sporting the Fender logo, is quite cheap feeling compared to the case that came with my American Deluxe Stratocaster. Good enough to protect the guitar? Sure, but it is pretty light weight. The guitar cable is a generic 10 foot cable that is really pretty useless. The guitar strap is paper thin and I would not trust it with even a cheap guitar. The tuner and the picks are nice as you can never have enough of those. There is a 3 month pass for Fender Play which I probably will give to some kid and the instructional DVD included is really for someone who has never picked up a guitar before. So while I am very happy with the guitar, the rest of the bundle is less than what I expected. All in all though, I'm happy with the purchase and recommend this to others. ... show more

The guitar set was attractive and no doubt of excellent quality. Unfortunately, I need a LH guitar and Amazon's sales page crossed it to a RH guitar instead. NOTE: The words on the Amazon page indicated that this was indeed a LH product. However, the photo and link to the product were to a RH instrument. The RH guitar that I was sent has been returned, and I purchased a similar LH unit at a local Guitar Shop. ... I did like what I received from this vendor. arrived missing parts, very disappointed, no DVD either. To be fair they did refund money to buy the missing part and I'm waiting to see if they send the missing DVD. The guitar and case arrived in good condition. The guitar plays and sounds OK and the case has no issues at this time. I am going to change the pick-ups to Strat Alnicos to improve the sound quality. Overall it is a good guitar and case for the price. *update* Even with the refund finding a tremolo arm is difficult, the 2 I've bought so far are junk and don't work well. Im sure that's why they send you money and not the arm. ... show more
