  • Nice locks
Color: Black Style: Infinity Lock
Nice locks, easy to install and work great, pretty sturdy and the screw is just so ever slightly bigger which is fine by me, and cheap too

  • Easy to install but bulky.
Color: Black Style: Infinity Lock
Great strap locks overall. A little bulky. I now prefer the other fender s locks or Jim Dunlop locks. These are great but very bulky. Well built. No issues and easy to install.

  • Works great with 3/8 inch thick guitar straps…
Color: Black Style: Infinity Lock
Great… if your strap is 3/8 inches thick (see photos). I thought the lock would secure the strap closer to the pin. Check out the photo… 3/8 inch is not close in guitar strap talk. And if I installed as is… that guitar is gonna hit the floor. And even without the strap, the basic mechanics are as loose and wonky as something that’s loose and wonky. I don’t know where the 5 Star reviews are coming from. I gave it 5 Stars because high ratings are shown first and someone thinking of buying these, won’t… or maybe I just didn’t install them right, but these things are going back because none of my guitar straps are 3/8” thick. Come on Fender. Seriously, what the heck? You can do better, dudes. ... show more

  • I Really Like These
Color: Black Style: Infinity Lock
I've tried a lot of other strap lock devices and these are my favorite, so far. They look classy on my Ultra Jazzmaster. That guitar came with the "Schaller" type system which I've never been a fan of. The little "ball mechanism thingy" is hard for a guy like me, with big hands, to grab and pull up to release (easily). Also, it's not always easy to "slide" the locks on and off in certain conditions. They just aren't the easiest to deal with-especially if you are playing a gig and need to do things quickly and easily and sometimes in the dark. These, however, are very easy to engaged and disengage and are easy on the fingers. Pretty important for a guitar player.lol Also, A BIG reason I like these are the "pole pieces" are slightly longer than most and if you ever tried getting some of the other brands devices thru a thick leather strap, you'll know what I'm talking about. MAJOR PAIN in the butt. These were big/long enough to secure with a thick leather strap (Walker and Williams make great straps, btw!) without too much effort. I have no complaints! • Not especially impressed, but they're not as awful as everyone says.
Color: Black Style: Infinity Lock
I bought these because I wanted an easy way to remove the strap from my guitar for transport. I'm admittedly less concerned about the guitar falling out of the strap, but extra security isn't a bad thing. These appealed to me because they look nice with the F insignia and because I like the simple interface with the two buttons. As expected it's very easy to put the strap on and remove it from the guitar. The two main complaints others seem to have with these don't bother me so much: Yes, the latch is not a "snug" fit and you can wiggle the lock around in the button. That's fine with me, I like the extra freedom of movement; it adjusts better to my posture. And yes, the strap sits an inch or so away from the guitar body. I like that the strap won't grind away at my finish over time. I suppose I'd like it better if it were a little closer to the body but it really doesn't bother me either way. I have other complaints: 1) The way in which the lock fastens itself to the button just doesn't instill any confidence in me at all. The guitar's life hangs in the balance by some very, very tiny ball bearings. There are 70 year old Fender Stratocasters in this world. I do not trust these to last 70 years. I may not even trust them to last 7 days if I were doing lots of gymnastics on stage every night. 2) The screw heads are just too small for the size of the screw. I don't want to have to force the screwdriver into the screw head with tons of force when installing these. A torx head or such would be more welcome. 3) Fender should include some felt pads to sit between the button and the finish like other strap buttons do. I have another guitar with Fender's version of the Schaller S locks and those just seem fool-proof and fail-safe compared to these. I just bought a set of real Schallers and, if the screw from these Infinity locks works with those (and it looks like it will) I'll probably switch to those instead. Fender needs to redesign these. I have no idea who looked at these and said "yep this will instill confidence in our loyal customers" but that person was wrong. ... show more
