    • Very easy to assemble, assuming there's not a flaw in the plastic connector
I bought this to supplement a dressmaker's dummy, which I use for making medieval reenactment costumes. The dressmaker's dummy lacks arms and shoulders, and is not suitable for making cloaks. This mannequin, on the other hand, serves that purpose admirably. The reviews said the mannequin was very easy to assemble. I tried for 45 minutes but simply could not get the left leg to seat with the right leg/lower torso. I drew alignment marks on the white plastic with a Sharpie. That didn't work. I installed a guide pin and corresponding hole in the center of each half of the connector, and drilled a 1" hole in the mannequin's upper thigh, to thread the guide pin. That didn't work, either. One of the other reviews mentioned a malformed plastic connector. I didn't think the connector looked different than any of the others. Two and a half hours into the project, when I still hadn't gotten it to work, I enlarged the slots of the connector using a utility knife. Bingo! The problem was a malformed connector, after all. (female half, on the torso side) Everything else about the mannequin is great. All the other connectors works fine and were assembled in seconds. The plastic is nice and heavy (although lightweight to carry), it's sturdy, and it looks nice. It's an excellent item at a very low price. Would buy again, would recommend to a friend. ... show more

    • Lightweight and mostly easy to assemble
Assembly was mostly easy, except the body part was tougher and required two people. Fairly stable, and I like the color - it's true to the photo. I saw other manufacturers have yellow tints; this is a clean white. I ordered one to try, and we'll order a few more for a presentation.

I don't recall even having the option to choose a size when I purchased this, yet this product apparently comes in multiple sizes. The seller sent me a frankenstein assortment of different body part sizes. Mine's torso falls off because it is labeled XXL but the waist is labeled XXXL. The leg will not go on because it's labeled S. The XL arms can be forced onto the XXL body with some struggle. Currently waiting to hear from the seller about how they will correct this for me. ... show more

The hands on the mannequin are a different color then the rest. I am using for a local museum and put a sleeveless dress on and the hands really stick out as a different color (a little darker). The stand doesn't quite fit for both feet to stand on but that is ok, it is sturdy and was easy to assemble, just wish skin color matched. ... show more

Needed a form for display. Didn’t know what to expect other than having had exposure to previous mannequins. It feels like it’s made of dense plastic like thick enough to where I probably couldn’t smush it by sitting on it. I like how lightweight it is. The way it locks into place was a bit hard to work with by myself. Twisting into place was hard when there was resistance. The waist has no resistance to it so I’m worried it way swing around but I can put something on it to keep it in place ... show more
