Absolutely love it. Quality is great. No issues with mouse use. Feels and looks great. Has a nice stitching along the edge as well as an anti-slip texture on the bottom to keep it in place. I've seen many others up to almost $80 for this same exact thing. Don't waste your time. You could buy 4-5 of these before hitting that $80 price point of the others. Just get it, you'll be happy.

It looks wonderful and is very comfortable resting your hands when typing. I have a large desk and this pad creates a defined workspace which is mentally satisfying. However, I need to add that it's not a very good mouse pad. The felt can catch in the mouse and sometimes the mouse doesn't respond to movement. When I put a mouse pad over top over the felt pad, it solved all my issues. I do still like the pad though.

I wasn't sure how I would like a felt desk mat, but after going through multiple standard neoprene style mats, that after a year or so of use end up with bits of rubber stuck to the desk underneath it, I decided to give something different a shot. When it first arrived and I laid it down on my desk, I was concerned over the texture, thinking that it might be too scratchy, but this has not been an issue at all. I've been using it for several weeks now, and I love how securely it holds to the desk without sliding around, but isn't going to adhere itself to the desk, thanks to the texture on the underside. The top side is fairly soft (as soft as felt can really be) without it being irritating to lay my arms on. The dark grey color goes well with my faux walnut desk and manages to make my desk look nicer, despite the random usb cables, and various bits and bobs that clutters the place up. If you're looking for something different than the typical neoprene mat, I would definitely recommend giving this one a shot.

I already owned a smaller GroveMade felt mat which I really liked except for one thing: Price. This is 1/3rd the cost for a almost 2x the size matt. I expected lower quality, but it is actually decent. I think it MIGHT wear faster over time and use but still at this price, you can't beat it. The rubber grips also really help as my old one moved quite a bit and this one doesn't. I think this one might be a tad thinner, but not an issue. Also came with a free mousepad that I wasn't aware of. Didn't match my office but my wife took it to use. Would buy again.

Perfect size, feels great, and works perfectly...until it doesn't. Couple months in the felt began to fall apart, making little felt balls on the pad. No big deal. Then it started impacting my mouse movements so I had to flip the felt pad. A couple of months later, same thing happened, but no more pad to flip. So now it's pretty much useless. Shame because I love the look and feel. P.S. I use MX Master 3S, and this thing is smooth on my jeans on long flights, so it's actually amazed it doesn't hold up to bumpy felt.

A while back, I bought the Grovemade felt desk mat and found it a bit too itchy. The material on it is quite rough. It was also too small for my desk (I got the wrong size), and took more than a month to deliver. When I saw this Dawn Trees one for $15 I figured I'd give it a shot but had very, very low expectations because the price was so much cheaper than the $70+ Grovemade version. There's no way a $15 desk mat can be better than one that costs 5 times as much right? Wrong! The felt material of the DawnTrees mat is much softer, less wiry, smoother and shorter. My mouse works better on it than on the Grovemade. It lays and stays flat on my desk. PErfect thickness. The bumpy, grippy underside seems to slide less than the Grovemade did. I would argue that it even looks better than the Grovemade mat because the color is more uniform due to the shorter length of the felt material. And most importantly, my arms don't itch from it! Highly recommended if you're looking for a comfortable, affordable felt desk mat. 10/10
