I knew nothing about this, I just bought it because a bought a puncher that it works with... also I knew nothing about. Just needed it for school. It was exactly as expected. These come in different sizes, so just make sure you get a size that holds the number of pages you intend to bind.

I only put about 30 pages in my booklet with these. I don't feel that you could put much more than that in them without it being too tight. They are easy to use and are worth the price paid.
