Nice and sturdy, made of real wood. Baskets are a somewhat natural feeling type material, but tightly woven so it feels like it will last. Instructions are just pictures and pieces aren’t labeled, but it’s really not complicated. Kitties love it for their window spot in the bedroom! I feel like there’s always a spot on each cat tree I’ve owned that isn’t very practical and the cats never use, which is why I bought one with baskets (a fave) on each level. UPDATE: Previously I gave this 1 stars but after reaching out, they offered to send me the hardware! Very happy with it now Cat tree looks great but it arrived without any hardware. I’m unable to assemble anything because there are no screws. Not sure how to contact someone to fix this problem. I would like to keep the stand but will have to return if I cant even put it together ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is the prettiest cat tree I’ve ever seen! My cats sniffed it out while I was putting it together but haven’t touched it since. No worries, it always takes a little time for them to adjust. I also stained the boards darker so it smells a bit. I love how the stained boards look and it goes perfectly with my furniture. The pads for the baskets are a bit of a joke. Super thin and flimsy and they slide all over the place. I was going to buy Velcro for them but then I found an old cat tree I had in the basement that had removable pads and they are perfect! ... show more

This is a fun little project for your cat loving humans. My mother-in-law has two cats and we got this for her birthday since she mentioned it before. First, the package is HEAVY (be aware), but its a good thing because the parts that we needed to assemble was solid, sturdy, and robust. It will not break down anytime soon, it will last long long time. It took us about an hour to complete. The final verdict? Her cats were cautious at first but later, they would not get off from it.
