This is the only FelPro part available as transmission pan gasket for 2010 Nissan Altima. Here is the problem though, there are two variety of transmission pans that go on that car. Apparently there are some that have 18 bolt pans, the gasket will have 20 holes because of 2 locator pin holes. If you have 18 bolt pan, then this gasket is for you. There are some that will have 19 bolt pans and gasket needs to have 21 holes. This is the type of pan I had and the gasket does not fit right, though the general shape is nearly identical, the lower left corner as seen in Amazon picture is different between the two pans! I, unfortunately had to find out after I already dropped the pan and discovered the problem when I tried to align the new gasket. This review is not a reflection on Fel-Pro product, but the fact that you may end up with the wrong gasket. Buyer we ware. In the attached picture, the new FelPro gasket is on top and to the left, and the old Nissan gasket is on the bottom and to the right. Pay attention to the bottom right corner, thats where all the differences are.

This Felpro gasket fits our 2011 Suzuki SX4 CVT transmission. But it is softer than the original gasket. It has 18 bolt holes plus two more holes for the alignment pins. This CVT is the JATCO JF011E also used in certain other Nissans, Jeeps, Mitsubishis, and Dodge Calibers. I cleaned the transmission surface and the pan surface very well where the gasket would go. Used lacquer thinner as a final wipe to get all oil off before putting it back together. Turned each bolt by hand a little at a time to draw the pan up evenly, then torqued each bolt a little at a time to spec. Poured the CVT fluid into the trans then looked under the car to check for leaks. It was already dripping from the rear of the pan. Took it apart again and the gasket seemed to be frayed where it was leaking. Since a new OEM gasket (actually made of thin metal) seems to cost around $50 or more, I decided to buy another of these Felpro gaskets from a local parts store because they offered a 20% discount. But this time coated the gasket with Permatex Blue RTV gasket maker/sealer first, following the directions on the tube. That seems to have worked. If a leak should start again I doubt I'll buy another Felpro, instead spend the 50 for the real deal original.

Works just as it should, keeps the good stuff in and the bad stuff out. Fitment details are included on Amazon but Amazon is not a car parts store and you should always cross reference with the manufacturer who will most certainly give you the right model gasket for your vehicle based on specific information you provide. A fool proof way to make certain is to peak at your current pan and think to yourself "gosh maybe this 18 bolt hole gasket won't fit on my 19 bolt hole pan."

Its returnable as per site before you purchase , but when you get the product and read back of the packing box it says Not returnable after opening , which is which? So i did return it even without using it and besides the original on the vehicle is better Quality than this over rated One
