These gaskets are a universal fit for the GMT-800 generation of 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0L engines. I installed this on a 99 2500 non-HD with the cast iron head LQ4 block. Nice to have spare felt water pump gaskets on hand should I ever need to replace a pump on a rainy day.

Installation was pretty straightforward. Take your time, clean the surface well and make sure when installing the seal that, it is lined up square Don't forget to grease the new seal before installing crank pulley with Highly recommend replacing oil pump while timing cover is off. Which unfortunately, also includes removing the oil pan to do it properly it can be done without pan removal but very hard also most pans have an oil leak so a great time for maintenance ... show more

Arrived slightly bent due to poor packaging unrelated to the manufacturer. Crank seal was hard to get installed and took excess force to get seated properly in the housing in my opinion.

    • Trust Fel Pro- the best seals out there
Just installed to fix a front cover/crank seal leak. Make sure to use a proper alignment tool and be sure that it spins freely with the cover torqued down. Fel pro is my go-to for gaskets and seals and they did not disappoint me here either.
