I wondered why these were more expensive than similar eyeglasses I see for sale. Examining them closely I think I have figured it out. These are really beautiful & smart looking, and they're a real throwback to the eyeglass styles of the 1950s and 1960s. They're sort of a very contemporary cat eye, with thicker frames at the top, thin semi-transparent red frames on the bottom and temples. The very top of the front is a sort of mottled tortoise-shell, that fades into the red. Really great design. The bridge on these is wide, and these glasses are perfect for many face shapes & sizes. The frames come with fixed nose pads that are non-adjustable, but deep. This makes them even more comfortable when wearing. There are spring loaded hinges on the temples, and this really increases the durability and lifespan of the eyeglasses. The temples are thin, and curve behind the ears for both security and comfort. No need to worry that these will suddenly fall off when you lean forward. The lenses are prescriptive, +3.0 in this case, readers. But there's more to them. They also have an anti-reflective coating, and are blue-light blocking. This means that as long as you're wearing these glasses your vision is protected from the harmful effects of blue-light rays. These are present when working on electronic devices like computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, but also when watching television, or working under artificial light. You will be protected. Comes with a single microfiber cleaning cloth, and a blue-light testing kit. These are beautiful eyeglasses, and very well made. When you consider all the features you see that these are actually a very solid value.

After 50+ years of severe myopia and a lifetime of glasses/contact lenses I recently had cataract surgery and WOW, what a difference! I chose to have my permanent lenses optimized for “middle/computer” distance and I am beyond thrilled with the result. Although I now can - and do! - read and drive without assistance I do find that it’s helpful to have a pair of cheaters available to give me the crispness I’m looking for. My cataract surgeon suggested trying the lowest strength I could find which, when I ordered these, was 1.00. Although these aren’t really my style they sure do make a difference when viewing my phone for extended periods of time! I especially love that they come with a blue-light flashlight and card so you can confirm that they do, in fact, BLOCK the blue light (you put the glasses in front of the card and shine the light between the lens and the bridge - i.e., so the light is shining on the card both with and without going through the lens). I do think the price is a bit high for one pair ($19.99 when ordered). Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

They are not square, but more cat eyed. They do their blue light thing pretty well, with a noticably different look than regular glasses. The thick frames are pretty sturdy as well. *The teddy bear is a anonymous model and will not be named.

I love the look of these glasses. They are wider frames, and have animal print around them. With being on a screen a lot, I opted for eyewear that not only protects my eyes, but at least I can be stylish too. They check all my boxes.

These are cute looking frames which is why I ordered. The lenses are super clear, I ordered 1.0 and I can read super sharp with them and the size covers my eyes well. I do have a smaller face and while the frame is really cute, they are too big and not super attractive on me. The tortoise design on top gives me a "Groucho Marx" vibe on my face...lol. They are nice glasses and I will definitely use them for reading at home.

They're oversized retro style. They do have blue light filtering and are 1.0 for reading. The lens clarity is great. I can easily read with these. The frame is study and seems durable. The glasses come with a mini blue flashlight and a lens cleaning cloth. All of this comes in a drawstring bag to help prevent scratching the lenses if you need to store the glasses. These are a nice pair of glasses for reading and relaxing. They have add a bit of style to my daily life.

In fairness, I gave the reading glasses a 3-star rating because I know there are people who would love this style. I do not keep up with the latest styles of reading glasses. I even cheated and searched online after I tried them on, and found out they are one of the 2023 styles for reading glasses. But, the Retro Square style of the readers isn't for me. (My "fairness rating" is a 3-star rating, but my "heart rating" is a 1.5-star rating.) I'm glad I did not have my heart set on these as my new pair of readers. Again, being fair, I feel like the glasses are well made as they are thick and heavy, and well worth the money for people who may like retro styles. As for me, I'll keep them near my desktop for home use.

These are very nice readers. They appear in every way to be sturdy. They come with a good cleaning cloth and a soft fabric case so you can take them along without the contents of your purse damaging them. The spring hinges are flexible so that you can put them up on your head and they stay there well. And they are attractive, too. Even to us nerds that's important. :) The lady in the ad is young, with a slender face, and I'm older (age 60) with a less slender face. And they look great on both of us: a very good design. Recommended: I like them.
