  • Possibly more than just Bluelight Blocking.
I originally bought theses glasses almost 2 years ago & stopped wearing them because I would get slightly dizzy after having them on & taking them off (This is no longer an). But, they’ve always done a great job taking a load off my eyes when staring at a computer screen all day. I also have had a problem with Anxiety & excessive sweating and something I noticed when wearing these glasses was when having them on my anxiety & sweat all seemed to dramatically decrease. Now, this got me wondering (why would/how could) a pair of glasses do this. I ended up coming across “The Mind-Eye Institute” in Northbrook Illinois. They make “Brain glasses” which alter the way our eyes & brain interact with light. Turns out, the way light hits the eye can effect the brain in certain ways which can give people with Anxiety, PTSD or TBI’s some relief they never thought possible. Now, I’m not 100% positive that that’s what’s going on here. Especially, with how cheap these glasses are. But one thing I’m fairly certain about is when I put these glasses on all the inner turmoil that has caused me to be wrought with anxiety for years seems to ease at a notable level. Now, not all blue light glasses have this effect on me, so I’m wondering if somehow they’ve accidentally created the same effect… although to a lesser degree that the Mind-Eye Institute uses when treating people with their glasses? In conclusion the glasses do exactly what you’d be buying them to do & I even think them may serve another purpose. Because of my own experience wearing them. ... show more

  • Comfortable, Adjustable, and Amazing!
Note: As an avid computer and phone user, blue light glasses are a must need for me. Blue light glasses alleviate strain on the eyes while using digital devices (most to all devices give off blue light waves-- from laptops to tablets, etc). For people who typically are on their devices for about 5+ hours (like me), blue light wave can give off major headaches, prevent sleep, and make staring at a screen exhausting. Artificial blue lights have been researched to delay the body's natural creation of melatonin- the hormone that helps us sleep. While this is being said, having blue light glasses is truly at the discretion of the buyer. I purchased these glasses because of the current situation moving my schooling online. I also play video games frequently and use my phone often. After doing some research and finding out the effect of blue light waves and noticing similarities in my symptoms, I came across these glasses on Amazon. Having two pairs is perfect. One for home, or one for work. One for school or one for the nightstand. The price is just right for a two pair of glasses. They look just like the picture and are just as the description says. These glasses also have light frames and don't block the vision in any way. What truly gave this product a high score is that it even came with a modern and sleek box, glasses cleaner, glasses frames adjuster, and glasses holder! All the maintenance for these blue light glasses comes right in the box. They're stylish, sturdy, and at a great value. Worth every cent! ... show more

  • FIRST, got these on sale for ten bucks....WHY THREE STARS
I just had cataract surgery and while I am waiting to get the second eye done, I thought I would order these. I can only see well out of one eye now and so am blocking the other lens of these glasses with a shield for now. Here's my experience with these glasses and WHY the THREE star OVERALL: EFFECTIVE? - A LITTLE. The BLACK frame ones seem to help a bit more toning down brightness than the clear frames. They both help....A LITTLE. BLUE LIGHT - while many of the various brands show how much blue/UV their glasses supposedly block right there in the title and description, I didn't see that with these. PRICE - Well, for ten bucks, I got an iffy blue light pair of glasses (the other pair, no difference), a handy little screwdriver, a glass cleaning cloth... QUALITY - the frames seem sturdy enough. I just keep them next to my computer. They don't get wear and tear or tossed into a bag, a car glove compartment or anything. Just for at home. COMES WITH - cleaning cloth, a little screwdriver and a bag and....LAST.... AMAZON CARD...I REALLY don't like vendors trying to bribe me with an Amazon card. I take my reviews seriously and I will not go to the link and claim the card. SO these are my thoughts without an incentive. If anything, the company goes down in my mind by throwing a card in the bag (that you have to contact them about and I don't wish to). I WILL BE LOOKING for computer glasses that are better. For now, these are a little helpful. ... show more

  • They work!
These are really good glasses; you can't beat the two for one price. They are both sturdy and light-weight, and there is a significant (enough) difference between the color of the light that comes in. There was one thing that I didn't expect from blue blockers in general: how much glare there is on camera. When it "blocks out" the extra blue light, it actually reflects the light off of the surface of the glasses, resulting in a pleasant viewing experience. But this causes a blue glare from your computer screen to be reflected away from the glasses, which is fine except for when you are on a video conference. Personally I try not to wear them when I'm on a chat with my friends, but if you don't want people to be able to read your face, then hey, blue blockers are for you. Of course you will experience this with most any blue blocking glasses; this is just the nature of the product and something you should be aware of. Of blue blockers, these are a great pair and I would recommend them to anyone who asked for my opinion. ... show more

  • Son wears while gaming
My son is constantly gaming and wears these glasses all the time. He likes the look and likes that his eyes don’t bother him from looking at the screen.
