The scent is so strong but that does exactly what I needed it for. Strong freshness smell is great, but sometimes the chemical smell does hit you in the face, I needed that for where I was adding it. The sticky back and holder are easy to use and refill. The tape was so strong which is amazing but that also makes it hard if you ever need to relocate, so make sure you like the spot you're placing it. For reference, I have a 9 gallon trash can. We started throwing dirty diapers in with our regular trash because our diaper pail started molding and we didn't want to buy a new one. The addition of poopy diapers made the trash smell extremely foul. This helps tremendously with the stink! Every time we open the trash, it smells amazing now no joke. The packaging says each refill will last 45 days, but the first refill has lasted us well over two months and it's still going strong.
